Jesus it sounds like I had/have @Edgethis HPOP problems, @Hit Man X injector problems, and @Khan valve spring problems. You guys are costing me as much money as my wheeling buddies
driving this POS for a little while haha. Gotta do some home improvements and fixes on the Tacoma before I spend any more money on this thing. Probably a couple months from now I’ll do the LPOP, harmonic balancer, PS pump, and water pump. But I guess that’s more maintenance than upgrades haha
The only things not being replaced are the bare housing itself, the bare hubs, brake backing plates, and the axle shafts.
just read through your axle thread and it made me want to do an 05+ swap really badly. But, I am holding off on that until I put fabbed Ford 9” axles under my Tacoma
I actually have really thought about a coil front swap. There's a 08 frame with srw axles here locally for cheap. If it was a dually I'd jump on it. I already have an rsk and replaced front springs....twice 🙃

coils would be awesome, but I also want a rear with disk brakes. But yeah I took the POs 4” lift rsk off to put a 2” rsk on. But I like building/rebuilding axles and haven’t done it in a while. So the front and rear would go. Rollers go for too much around here

You can swap to disks like copedawg just did. The rear leafs are a pretty easy swap.
