Got a brand new international cps in the glove box now. Been running on that old one for about a year now.
After all of my reading, I don’t think I’ll ever put a sensor on this truck that isn’t motorcraft or IH. Luckily enough guys on here have posted about keeping a CPS in the glovebox that I went to riffraff and bought one. Especially being a $26 part. Every time I have weird timing/no start issues I’m going to try this first haha

New turbo outlet o ring and v-band arrive today to get my boost leak fixed up. I also have a new riffraff intake boot coming since my factory one is coming apart, as well as a HPX line. Should be a good afternoon!

What hpx line did you get? I got a solid one from somewhere. Fits ok, even with my mammoth turbinator. Seemed to even out the idle a bit quieter.

I got the solid line from RiffRaff. Glad to hear it evens out the idle better, mine could definitely use that haha

Thumbs up

I too have that RR unit. Seemed to help I guess. Now I have a big HPOP so it does it internally.

May as well upgrade to that Stancore GP relay like us cool guys.

Which HPOP do you have? That’s high on my list to do next.

I need to do some research on the best GPR, I plan to do new gpr, glow plugs, uvgh all this fall before it gets cold again. Alternator is probably next though. It is getting worse every day

I think the HPOP will make a big difference.

anyone have advice on how to get IC pipes to line up with the turbo outlet? My turbo outlet pipe is too tight to my intake spider to get a good seal on the outlet

Depends on parts involved, but should be able to loosen some clamps and wiggle things into place. The y pipe should be able to move a tiny but also.

My advice and experience though is geared towards having a straight mounted turbinator.

I wish that worked. I had everything apart again today. Probably have to loosen the turbo bolts

but at the same time that makes no sense. The pedestal only goes in one spot, and the turbo only goes in one spot on that. Idk I’ll just keep talking to myself until the problem magically goes away

Do you have plenum inserts with with banks kit? I noticed mine fits sloppy with them, pretty sure I would need to take the difference off the twin ram piece to make it fit. Because if this I can't bolt the two pieces together currently.

you sir, are a genius. I never in my life would have thought of that, but that is my exact problem. Guess I’ll get the grinder out in the AM after I finish reading 100 pages of closing documents

What is your alt not doing?

You can rebuild a 3G really easy. I needed a replacement as my rectifier pack melted down on me.

Start by pulling the voltage regulator. You may just need a set of brushes on the voltage regulator. Cheap, quick, easy. If it is noisy, bearings are easy to do too.

My HPOP is that Adrenaline. Huge difference in power on my truck. I actually have fuel atomization now.

I have the battery light any time I’m not hard into the throttle, and I had to jump the truck after a couple days so I know the batteries aren’t charging well. I’ll have to look into a rebuild vs replace.

for the HPOP I’m trying to decide between the CNC and Adrenaline. After hearing about all of the bad out of the box t500s I’m not super interested in that one. Trying to decide if the Adrenaline is worth the extra 2-300 bones

In life and wrenching news, I closed on the new house today. Current house im renting has a standard 3 car garage and a super sloped driveway, so I’m always working on the Ford in the crappy sloped driveway. At the new place, I’ll finally be able to work on her inside! Super tight (like 3-4” per side to the walls) but the engine bay will be easily accessible!
