Glow plug relay quit yesterday morning right after it flashed for a second. Engine quit.

Tried to start again and was blowing white smoke then flashed after about 10seconds.

Voltage wasn’t dropping on my gauge. Swapped wires over to the AIH relay and all was back to normal for voltage and starting.

New GPR from NAPA goes in today. Will relocate it to the fender when I get back home.

this would work, not OEM, but at 300 amps, it will do the job

I ordered it to use with my water barrel pump,
it pulls 15 amps at 70 psi,
the relay I am using now, gets really hot to the touch, it will blister your fingers... this one is Continuous Duty

It's was 54 in middle NC this morning.

It was 44°f, 7°c. Doesn’t help that we’re at 3500feet elevation.

we used to live in Cedar Crest, NM at 7,000 feet elevation.
Morning temps were always nice, we were on the East side of Sandia Mountain....

Open the bedroom window ( west side of house / Upslope )
open the basement windows ( east side, downslope )
and you slept up the covers all summer long

I switched to F for my Merican friends.

Headed home to the coast on Sunday.

Had a HARD braking incident on our last trip.

8% downhill grade at 55mph with our 8500lb trailer on the back of the truck when a lady pulled a u-turn in front of me.

Standing on the brake pedal, trailer got squirrelly, guy behind us swerved into oncoming lane to avoid hitting us. Front rotors are warped.

2020 I put new premium NAPA rotors on the truck. At that time they were a lifetime warranty on those rotors. NAPA has now downgraded the warranty on those rotors to a 24month.

Trying to get them to honour the old warranty right now.

She took off in a hurry after I got slowed down to 10mph. She then turned right at the first opportunity. The guy behind me got around and sped up onto her bumper, but not sure what came of that.

Sure wish I had a dashcam. That was some insane footage without the carnage, except my brakes.

NAPA honoured the warranty and I got a full credit for the warped rotors.

Upgraded to their Adaptive One rotors. 24 month warranty.

Adaptive One Calipers, Limited Lifetime Warranty.

New brake lines.
