Enjoy those two months! A little decompression and adjustment time is definitely welcome after 2+ decades of serving our country. I wish I had that luxury but an enlisted retirement does not go far in SoCal with a family and two vehicles that get 12-14 mpg.

Glad to see another member from Georgia... and really love to see a clean engine bay. I can't understand these people who just let years of dirt/grim pile up on the engine !

I replied to your question about the vision 81 heavy haulers! Mine are 8 on 170, wouldn't try anything else.

Thanks for the reps brother Sous! I believe I may have been the first to introduce the idea of using Tracer Line leak detection dye with a reasonably priced pet store black light, at night, with no other lights on, as opposed to having to have an expensive $300 special service light gun to use during the day. I came up with the blacklight at night idea, tested it, and then recommended this method back around 2004, so naturally I remembered talking about it over the years.

Thanks, Sous... I work with PDF files quite a bit at my office, and have learned over the years how to manipulate and modify them to fit my needs quite nicely. I'm glad that I can put those skills to use to help others.

I like reliability and longevity... I have a 2000 f250 2x4 7.3 6sp, it only has 60k on her, was a garage find 6 years ago with 4600 miles on her. I plan on driving the rest of my life. I'm ready to mod but only for mpg and a little more power, biggest load it pulls is my boat at about 6k lbs. What would you suggest?

All you need are 5 posts and 10 days registered. Once there (like you are) if you can't PM, you'll have to go to your User CP and activate PM capabilities.

On the left side, scroll down to Settings and Options and click on Edit Options. Once there, in the Messaging and Notifications section (2nd section down) there's a Private messaging section. Click the box where it say's, Enable Private Messaging.

You should now be able to send me a PM.
