No, but I should have when I had the fuel bowl on the bench on Sunday afternoon.

It’s a real PITA to get to with the fuel lines in the way but if I’m going to confirm fuel pressure with a remote gauge it will be removed at that time and I can visually verify it’s clear.

Collected everything I need to do this test.

https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/a...4&d=1592859516

Tomorrow morning I’m changing out the frame to bowl flex line with 30r9 double clamped on both ends.

If that don’t fix it, then I’m checking FP the @BWST method to verify my gauge.

Say a prayer, wish me luck… whatever is is you do, and whoever it is you talk to.

Chose to do a fuel pressure test prior to changing the fuel line.

She tracks true.

Test drive confirmed.

Last tidbit, or nugget. 5 minutes after shutdown this thing is still holding just over 20lbs.

Shouldn’t that bleed down to 0lbs. Additionally the only place to bleed down to is the fuel feed line correct?

15 minutes now.

Mine bleeds down to 0 fairly quickly. Unless it's those flex line like ftn mentioned collapsing. Take lot of pressure to build up past it but then it doesn't flown enough when running. Then holding pressure back after shut off. Makes sense in my head. New line like you mentioned should rule those out. Your running out of options and about replaced everything there is.

And start fresh with an unknown 7.3 platform. No thanks.

Trade in on a 2024 6.7 Tremor, my finances don’t pass that stress test.

Flex line is the only thing not replaced.

I was under there bout an hour ago. The fuel line disconnect is right up tight to the 90° upturn and my tool won’t fit in there to release the line.

I’m going to beat this thing and then dance a happy dance like nobody is watching, then pour 2 fingers of Glenfiddich and relax.

Carefully Dremel the quick-connect off the engine hard line since you are replacing the flex line anyway.

Done and new line installed. No change.

I’m going to go from a 5 gallon directly into pump and see what gives.

Try being me.

My ears from my wife, my pocket book from the cost, diesel showers from lines of overhead, and my brain.

I'm at a loss. Wonder if it is some kind of issue with a injector or something of the sorts. Any diesel in coolant by chance?

Maybe confirm/check for voltage loss at the pump when pressure drops? Maybe it's losing some voltage?

I'm just throwing out ideas now.

I hear you.

Coolant is clean.

Haven’t checked voltage yet.

Still have the bleed down problem. It ain’t happening. Holding pressure at 20ish lbs.

Going to chase a cable down the bowl to flex steel feed line.
