Both cold starts. There is definitely a measurable difference.
That's neat. What equipment have you got that let you do that?

iPhone 8’s.

It’s just a free app that I downloaded.

RTA Audio Pro. There are tons available. I’ve tried a few in the past when I was doing sound for a group my daughter played with. This is the one that I liked best.

Fuel bowl out and in the process of putting back together.

HPOP lines are out and ready for installation of RDP.

Still have to pull old fuel lines, and also prepare heads for the FRx.

Can I just clip the lead inside the fuel bowl for the heater so the Water in fuel still works.

Turbo is perfect with no play at all. No KC 300 turbine this year.

Note to self and others....

Drain the HPOP reservoir before cracking those fittings loose.

Im sure a few of you are chuckling, but others are, Good to know.

I was in the shop working on the fuel bowl while the valley filled up with oil and started dumping onto the pavement driveway.

I’m doing both.
Thanking you for the tip, while I chuckled at the visual. Sorry.

If it’s any consolation I’ll probably forget and do the same thing by the time i get to doing mine.

Glad you got a laugh out of it.

I remembered reading about draining the reservoir after seeing the oil in the valley and on the driveway.

Reminded me of when I discovered what the little yellow thingie on the back of the fuel bowl did. Another oh crap moment, I gotta clean that mess up.

When I rebuilt my fuel bowl I had an abnormally high fuel pressure (100 PSI) due to the return line being off by 1/16". The line still sealed and had no leaks, but the FP was way up. I shut the truck down and went to drain the bowl via the valve...

Well, 100 PSI of fuel sprayed out the valve and toward the turbo, valley, hood, and everywhere else a 100 PSI shot of fuel would coming out of that small hole...

I laughed about it a few minutes later, but learned a lesson too. It happens sir and we are laughing with you, not at you!

I guess I’m going to find out if Synthetic 5-40 is as bad for asphalt pavement as any of the Dino oils.

I did get it cleaned up pretty quickly with Sunlight dish detergent but time will tell.

Thankfully my drain just goes into a rock pit underneath the driveway and not into the storm sewer.

Hmm, it is debatable if 5W-40 will help or hurt an asphalt driveway. I know 15W-50 is almost like bitumen so it conditions and nourishes the driveway. Then you need to talk about the zinc content for lubricity and the sodium laureth sulphate for lathering.

{humorful sarcasm on}

Is this based on an "impression" or a "review" or an "analysis" though... Was it full synthetic, blended or right out of the ground oil? Did you test it for Boron and MolyB BEFORE you subjected it to the "lathering" test?

{/humorful sarcasm off}

The Gasiola that came with the fuel lines and FRx must be real old because it has separated and didn’t realize until the package was already opened. Kinda hard to mix now unless I squeeze it out and mix it in a bowl or something.

Wondering if this will work for my application. From what I can read on the label it appears like it will. 10,000 psi on liquids.
