seriously this is a feature that could easily be enabled.

and FWIW - the cell modem goes to sleep every 3 days (for power conservation) when the vehicle isn't moved.

That does have a different part number. I wonder what the difference is.

At the stealership right now, they are charging me $120 to setup and activate the remote start. I didn't have remote start from factory, so it's an extra step, but that's still ridiculous in my mind.

Got mine from fairway Ford, I am going to call and see if they will do it, my dealer won't return my emails.

there was NO charger, or even a MENTION of a charge from Banner Ford (via the ebay purchase).

Well I got mine from a dealership on eBay for $225 shipped, so Im not that pissed about the fee.

I just bought the kit today from them. They have the remote access listed on eBay, but not the perimeter plus module that is also required.
I called and talked to Kevin in parts. He said they had the perimeter plus.

He said to call him after I got it installed, and he would generate the pin and get it set up. said it would take about 5 minutes.

$329.95 shipped for both modules

Am I correct in assuming the "perimeter sensing" already installed from the factory is different from the "perimeter plus" module needed form remote access? Thanks!
