If I install ford pass and start the truck with the app. Can some one drive it without the key if truck is unlocked? Can you put it in gear?

No the truck can not be driven without the key being inside. You are safe.

Sorry about that... I do tend to get busy from time to time, and we were under the gun with the dang tropical storm. Luckily it wasn't as bad for us as it could have been...

Hello all. Big THANK YOU to Boddy at Banner Ford. He had me set up in under 5 minutes. Even directed me on where to go to sign up for the subscription.

Install was easy of course. I throw up a picture later. I did leave the adjustment **** within easy reach until I get it dialed in.

Question: What are the 2 leftover ports right next to the adjustment **** for? EDIT: I see that they are for vehicles without remote start and for the alarm bypass clip

I see in the instructions is says to mount the RMST led so it can be seen from the drivers window. I mounted everything under the dash. Did anyone actually mount there within view?

I drilled a hole in the top of the steering column plastic cover and mounted there. Easily seen from just about anywhere. Plus if I screwed it up, the steering column cover is super cheap to replace. At least cheaper than most dash pieces. Just a suggestion

I did mine today as well while at work.
Simple plug and play.
Banner set me up with a PIN over the phone in 5 min. I drilled a hole in the rim around the tray for the LED. I need to get a brighter LED...
app works great!

Does ford update it?

the app-store provides the update, on the iPhone go to the App Store and update the app or all apps.
