If it’s showing Sleep Mode, you should be able to set a wake-up with enough of an advance to bring it out of sleep mode and allow a remote start through the app, usually a few hours prior.
If it’s in sleep mode and you want to start the vehicle, you need to use the key fob. Once the key is in the ignition and the vehicle is running, it should clear the Sleep Mode icon.
I believe it goes in to Sleep Mode 72 hours of the vehicle being parked/inactive to prevent battery drawdown.
Thanks for the response. I’ve done all of that as well. I’ve used the truck many times, scheduled wake ups days in advance, yet nothing.

I’d lean towards it being buggy with the lack of support for the app knowing it’s becoming inactive shortly then.
I used to get routine notifications of my app going in to sleep mode when it was parked during my work set - I haven’t had those in a long time. I opened my app the other day know it should be in sleep mode but it didn’t show it, yet it wouldn’t start the truck. I remote started it and then was able to use the second start on the app to read my countdown. I didn’t mind the subscription service the last several years I’ve had it, it worked like it should. I’ll miss it.

As of today my app is done. Sad that so far there's not a ford replacement.
There will be no factory replacement for the Oem Remote Access, all the newer vehicles are using a modem built into it.
I just had Compustar Drone Mobile installed in my truck yesterday. The Pro-Dealer installed it at my house for just under $400.00
Its about $60.00 a year for the service that included gps location, geofencing, lock/unlock open/partially open door alert, hood ajar,
auto start, 2 way communication for all the above
We have some time left; AT&T will shut down its 3G network in early 2022 as the company shifts its ... Verizon said in a recent filing it is “aggressively refarming 3G bands” for 4G ... to help us, until something happens to one of their loved ones and it ...
Doesnt seem so as my app no longer works. 😪 I see a obd2 module that says Ford Pass app module with hot spot will that not work?
Do you have factory remote function, like remote starting with the ford remote start button?

Not sure what it is you're looking to do. This is an old and lengthy thread and I wasn't about to scroll through dozens and dozens of posts. But the most recent post is over a year old now. And anything from Banner Ford on this thread is way older than that.
You'd be better off contacting Banner directly via their website or calling during business hours. I haven't used them in a few years but they were always responsive.
The parts department at Fairway Ford in Ohio has been very good to me over the years also. They've activated Ford remote start modules that I installed in previous trucks. More recently I've purchased mud flaps and seat covers from them and used FordPass points that had accumulated.
These kits are defunct now. The service they use was shut down a year ago so even if you got the kit and installed it you wouldn't be able to activate it.

He never did post back to say what he was looking for. If it's cell phone starting he's probably better off to talk to the parts guys at Fairway, Banner or the dealer of his choice or go aftermarket to something like Viper SmartStart or 12 Volt Solutions.
