I had looked far and wide for how to enable the indicator light in my cluster after installing fogs and couldn't figure out what FFV meant in the forscan spreadsheet. Someone on here said it should stand for Flex Fuel Vehicle, so I'm pretty sure it is in the IPC code 720-01-02 option 1 that I need.

What I wanted to ask you though was about the upgraded cluster you installed. I think I might have it all figured out, but I had quoted and asked you in another thread if the MyKey thing auto generated or if I would have to do anything to get my truck to start after installing the new cluster, which it looks like you answered already so thanks for that. I have a guy in NY that said he can do mileage and hours that I've used before. I just got done paying for a cluster that only had 13k miles for $350 from car-part. Couldn't stomach the $750+ people wanted on Ebay. Any tips and pointers on the install, including what to do with forscan, would be greatly appreciated.

Looks like you have experience in upgrades I want to end up doing. Hope to be able to pick your brain a bit.

"Just get a 2 channel amp and some good front component speakers. They will play loud and clear. Rears are for fill if anything at all, money is wasted back there. Only thing you might want to add is a sub down the road. Front components and an amp can be around $250 and will give you the biggest bang for your buck. Dont do what some guys here have done and buy 3 way 6x9's or coaxial speaker for the front. You'll ruin the soundstage more than anything else. Replace the tweeter and mid with something reputable and you'll be rocking."

Question, I installed JL Audio 3 ways and disabled the factory tweeters and rear speakers. It sounds good to me but I'm no expert, am I missing something? Thx.

I think I pretty much want to copy your truck. I see you put air bags on, was that just for towing, was that after the carli lift? I didn't know you could do airbags and a lift. I don't think I am the best at searching on this thing so I was wondering if you had posted your compressor build yet? Did you get the Carli Add-a-packs or is that why you went with airbags? Is the airbags a better option for towing/hauling and ride? Thanks for all the info.

Hi, I was wondering how you are liking your lift set up? Did you have to trim anything for 35s? All carli with fox shocks correct? Any plans for 2.5s in the rear? How is the ride compared to a 150 now? I drove both stock, and got the 250, I didn't notice too much difference in ride on washboard roads, big bumps definitley stiffer but, I'd really like to keep the box from jumping around on bumpy roads. 2017 f250 SCREW SB platinum

Seen a post you made in the Forscan thread about enabling low level inputs from the factory head unit.
I have a 2017 F-150 Limited with the Sony factory setup. I was wondering if you can pinpoint me on how to get low-level signal without the need for a Line Driver.

    I removed the stock subwoofer.
My current setup is a rockford Line driver tapped into the harness that connects to the Sony AMP getting signal from the Drivers front speaker to signal my Class D amp.

I got a custom woofer box where I can now add 4 6.5x6.5's and want to keep the factory Sony amp to power the stock speakers.
I'll be adding an additional 4-channel amp for the 4 6.5's

Basically I want to have one amp to get low level signal from the oem plug that went to the stock woofer and I can use the line driver to the other amp.

ok but I have to tell you the fog lights are a big deal on this kit, they are really bright and create a great cutoff too! I can do them for $75 so you can take some pictures, help me out here thanks
