Remote Access and additional Vehicle security kit!

Same as what I paid from them. I had them both installed by my local dealer and activated. I also did NOT have remote start. Remote start is now activated and the remote access works from my phone as well. I have mine setup to text me if it alarms. That works as well.

I'm confused - I have a 2017 Platinum (ultimate) edition that already has the remote start...
FT4Z-19A361-A seems to be redundant as labeled - REMOTE STARTER KIT - FORD (FT4Z-19A361-A)
Do I need that if I already have remote start?
Does it supplement or replace my existing remote start ?

Does Banner Ford charge for the PIN programing?
I assume they can do it over the phone, correct?
Is there a specific phone number or person that we should contact for programming?

If you're Canadian, your dealer has a better price than ebay or any of the American sources I have seen, the module for ford pass is 125.49 CDN$ and the security module is 258.14 in CDN$ on the ford.ca website if you search accessories. Otherwise you can see the prices in US$ listed in the previous posts.

So I called up the dealer about the pin and they said hat to get the pin they have to hook it up to the computer and every time they hook something up to the computer hey charge the hourly rate.

As far as I know they use a program called PTS to generate the pin. For the remote access part they do not need the to connect at all. The only time they would need the truck is if it did not come with remote start. They need to enable remote start with IDS where they need to be connected, but if you already have remote start it is already enabled and they can generate the pin for the remote access over the phone.

Here you go, these are the one's I used. Also, zip ties are a PITA, I used 3M velcro strips for the security module. I placed the remote module in the driver's side A pillar, to help with signal.

do i read this correctly? the factory (split) harness that comes w/ the perimeter module plugs into the back of the OBDII port?
