Seems too good to be true (on the 19a390-b item). I'd be interested in this if anyone can confirm this is legit.
Same as what I paid from them. I had them both installed by my local dealer and activated. I also did NOT have remote start. Remote start is now activated and the remote access works from my phone as well. I have mine setup to text me if it alarms. That works as well.
I'm confused - I have a 2017 Platinum (ultimate) edition that already has the remote start...
FT4Z-19A361-A seems to be redundant as labeled - REMOTE STARTER KIT - FORD (FT4Z-19A361-A)
Do I need that if I already have remote start?
Does it supplement or replace my existing remote start ?
Yes you still need both kits even when you already have remote start. You need that module because the remote access module for cellular access plugs into it. Without it you cannot equip the remote access module. That module also adds a shock sensor and expands your "regular" alarm to what they call a perimeter alarm.
It looks like Tasca is about the same as Banner on Ebay. That's why I questioned about the PIN generation. Banner used to include that, but with the new listing wording, I'm not sure.
I just ordered from Banner Ford on Ebay. They confirmed that they still do the PIN programing.

My "kit" will arrive on friday
Does Banner Ford charge for the PIN programing?
I assume they can do it over the phone, correct?
Is there a specific phone number or person that we should contact for programming?

This was posted earlier on this thread: "Yes, once the item is installed, please message us with the SIM card id number, along with a phone number to reach you at.
We will need about 5 mins of the vehicle being stationary.
Thanks
Bobby"
I assume, that means send them an eBay message when you're ready for the PIN
If you're Canadian, your dealer has a better price than ebay or any of the American sources I have seen, the module for ford pass is 125.49 CDN$ and the security module is 258.14 in CDN$ on the ford.ca website if you search accessories. Otherwise you can see the prices in US$ listed in the previous posts.
Thanks for that. I asked my dealer for pricing. They can usually do a little better. Not very often we get better pricing than the US. My Demco autoslide hitch would have been almost twice the price in Canada so I ordered from etrailer.
So I called up the dealer about the pin and they said hat to get the pin they have to hook it up to the computer and every time they hook something up to the computer hey charge the hourly rate.

As far as I know they use a program called PTS to generate the pin. For the remote access part they do not need the to connect at all. The only time they would need the truck is if it did not come with remote start. They need to enable remote start with IDS where they need to be connected, but if you already have remote start it is already enabled and they can generate the pin for the remote access over the phone.

They would also like to charge you a lot of money to install all of it at delivery. With all of the people on here who got theirs set up with a phone call, I call BS.
are there any (customer accessible) instructions available?
My devices arrived a few minutes ago and have NO install instructions - where does the cable plugs in to the factory harness!
Here you go, these are the one's I used. Also, zip ties are a PITA, I used 3M velcro strips for the security module. I placed the remote module in the driver's side A pillar, to help with signal.
For $225 on eBay. I'm dubious I got what I needed for that price, but the guy assured me I get those exact part numbers for $225 shipped. Ill let everyone know when I get home how it turns out.

do i read this correctly? the factory (split) harness that comes w/ the perimeter module plugs into the back of the OBDII port?
