Apologies if this was covered already, but has anyone noticed any issues with the bump sensors being too sensitive? Are there configuration settings to adjust sensitivity and if so, what settings have you found to work best? I wouldn't want constant false positives, if you will.

In my personal vehicles, I have them set just before the middle of the dial. I find that it takes a good bounce on the rear bumper to set it off, which for me doesn't allow any false positives, it actually means someone is tempering with the vehicle. Hope that helps!

There is a **** on top of the VSS unit that you adjust. There is also a jumper to disable it completely if you want. I have had no issues yet and I have mine a full sensitivity.

Hey BannerAuto, do you know if I can get text messages on Project Fi. Its not listed as an available carrier in the options...which seems weird to me since its Google's phone service. I guess Ford is just behind the times?
I just figured out a work around for the time being, if anyone has Project Fi or any other unlisted carrier, just find out your SMS address and enter it as an email recipient.
I ordered DL3Z-19A390-C and FT4Z-19A361-A from a Canadian dealer thinking that the different part number -C might be related to a SIM for Canadian cellular networks. Using the tool above for the SIM it is on Cingular (now part of the new at&t) network and probably roams on Rogers.
The install takes less than 2 minutes apart from tie wrapping the modules.
I called 3 Canadian dealers who were not familiar with the activation process.
In desperation I reached out to Bobby at Banner Ford to see if he could generate a PIN for me. I sent a PM to Bobby and within two minutes I had the PIN and heard the truck beep.
Thanks to Bobby at Banner Ford for getting me squared away.
When I go to use the Start in the app (I did not have the factory remote start installed) I get an error: The remote start feature is disabled. Please check your vehicle settings or owners manual to re-enable the feature (00010036).
I guess I need to use IDS to enable this feature. Does that have to be done at the dealer or can I do it in Forscan?

I couldn't find it in Forscan, I guessed it was in the IPC or something. My dealer turned it on in IDS.
On tha alarm sensitivity topic. I had the sensor install on my first truck. They literally zip tied the unit the the large wiring cable between the park brake and the break petal. Cars driving by at high sensitivity settings set the alarm off. A diesel starting two feet away set off the alarm. So I adjusted it with the little *** and all was good.
I got a new truck as result of lemon problems (Ford Canada customer support is disgusting and Ford I won't ever buy another Ford again) and the alarm is now no where near as sensitive. Installed in the same place. Turned it to max sensitivity and it now takes a good open hand slap to set alarm off. When I say good if i made a fist it would dent the panels.
So why is the exact same shock sensor on two vehicles read totally different. Not sure why but might explain why some users need to mess with settings more then others.
I noticed this too. I had it tie wrapped nicely under the dash but it was almost impossible to trigger, even on the most sensitive setting. I'm going to try the position recommended in the installation manual and see if that is better.
Does anyone in Canada have SMS working properly on the Rogers network? I can get emails when I trigger an event, however nothing for two Rogers cell phones. I called the support line and they referred me to Spindance. Still waiting for them to respond. There is a thread on the F-150 forum but not on this specific issue.
