Hoping you might help me out. I have a 2015 F250 Platinum

It came with the factory Fob keys that also features the remote remote start. I decided to add the shock sensor (Perimeter alarm DL3Z-19A361-A) and also added the optional LED Kit (DM5Z-19D596-A) installed the plug and play unit, upon install I noticed that the LED light flashes approx 1 per second. I arm the alarm the system the LED light just continues to flash never goes solid. I roll window down arm the system wait 30 seconds (LED never goes to solid) hit the steering wheel nothing happens, I have tried to adjusted the sensitivity on the unit but does not seem to change anything the Perimeter alarm DL3Z-19A361-A does not seem to do anything. Thanks in advanced for any help you can send my way

Pocket, I have traded for the 350 can I just buy the new VSS and plug the Remote access module into it? Will the truck recognize it and switch from my F150 to the new F350? Also to make sure there is no way my F350 Platinum Ultra has the VSS already on it from the factory is there? When I shut it down I get a message popping up on the dash about security and asking about perimeter or all sensors?

    Thanks again

Since you seem to be the resident authority on the remote start systems for a 2017 or 2018 SuperDuty I have the following question. Is it possible to move the components from my 2013 F150 Platinum and move it to a new Superduty Platinum? Does anything need to be re-activated or activated on the new truck? Thanks in advance.

Hello Pocket. I was reading a thread from 2016 about your diesel and your parents 6.2 ... I have a 2009 F-350 V-10 short bed pulling a 35 travel trailer. 10 around town , so I have a 11 Fusion for a daily driver. I probably put less than 3000 miles a year on the truck. We are planning a trip to Disney in fall of 2019 from Indiana. My problem and question to you is, if we go any distance I have to stop for gas 150-175. The Disney trip is going to be a pain stopping so much and the more I read it is a disaster waiting to happen carrying extra gas. We are seriously considering a diesel for this reason. How did your parents deal with this problem getting 7-8 mpg ??? When we stay close to home this is not an issue. Thank you !!!

Hello Pocket. I know you trained dealers on remote access installs. I installed mine and it has disabled the running boards from extending when I open the doors on my '17 F250 Platinum. Have you seen this happen before?

Hello Pocket, looking for some advice. I am not sure how to find info from a Forum. Example i would like to know what size tires will fit on a 2005 F150 XLT, crew cab. I can find the 2004 to 2008 truck forum but there are sooooooooo many posts in there. I think over a 100 pages of them. o how do i narrow the fact finding mission. Any and all info will be appreciated.....Neil

    Good evening!
I recall you were very helpful in the remote access threads. (THANK YOU!)
    are you and installer?
I got my SD done and the wife bought a '17 Edge. I bought the parts from the dealership that sold her the car with the thought that it'd be identical to the SD..
I cannot find the OBD port to tie into on the 17 Edge... The OBD port that shows under dash is different and there is a very large connector under that, but it looks nothing like the connectors in the parts I have.
    Any ideas?

Hey Curtis, it's Rodney AKA Karl4Cat. Despite my remaining polite, Tom decided to ban me for asking repeatedly what "Corey's" reason was for being so interested despite not owning the engine in question. If you have any sway as moderator, I suggest contacting your counterpart and straightening him out...
