Oh good Lord no. That's for the people that have money to throw away.

More money than brains is what I call it. Exactly why I consulted the "experts" before I decided which tire I was going with. I like getting the most bang for my buck, and have learned buying 'cheap' often costs you more in the long run.

Hello all. Taking a suggestion to put something up here for a little impromptu gathering/work session/teach me stuff event at my place in Raeford this Saturday 10SEP16. It'll be a bit warm but looks to be nice weather for it. I'll plus up on charcoal, stuff to cook over it, some frosty beverages, and make sure my pool is clean in case you want to cool off a bit.
Here's a list of what I'd like to work on:
1. finish installing new fuel line and get new tank(already installed) hooked up.
2. replace my front suspension bushings (have all new poly bushings).
3. replace rear shocks and suspension bushings
4. adjust choke and tune carb

I have lots of other fun stuff too, like replacing the pinion gear seal, installing new floor pans, and lots of other odds and ends, but getting that list done would put me way ahead of where I could get on my own this weekend. Would love to get just done enough to be able to drive her to the Fall Fling if I can make it. Would also love to meet some of you guys, or see ya again if we've already had the pleasure, and talk trucks and exchange lies. Thanks in advance for your consideration.

Matt

I'll find out if the wife has any plans made that I don't know about, it's happened before.
If she doesn't, then I'm in. If your not too far away, I'll kick Ka'Bluey in the butt and drive him out.

Wish I could make it Matt, but this weekend is already booked up. Let me know what weekend you'll be working on it next. I could possibly make it down that weekend. I know the 17th is out and the 8th is out already.

PS that's a whole lot to get done in a day or two without a lift and some good air tools.

That'd be awesome Bob, much appreciated. I think from you I'm just over an hour.

Josh, no worries, I realize it's kind of last minute. I don't know about the lift, but I should be able to get the air tools. And to be honest, I really wouldn't care if we got that much done, I'm sure I'd learn a lot anyway and it'd be nice just to have some fellow NCFTE folks getting together. Next weekend is out for me too, I work Friday Saturday and Sunday.

Your in, or just outside of Fayetteville?

I'm not a 100% what I got going on tomorrow, I know the wife mentioned something last night but I can't for the life of me remember what...

Just outside. A couple miles south of Fort Bragg, western side of Hope Mills.

I could only manage a couple hours Sunday morning, taking my son to a Hunter Education course that starts at 2pm. I'll still take all the help I can get, just letting you know what's going on.

Put 2 new shocks on the rear of the f250, made a huge difference, monroe gas Magnums seem to have taken the bone jarring out of the ride.

I can instantly tell the quality of the road im on, if it's smooth, truck is smooth, the slightest bit rough, yeah it's gonna beat ya up. Kinda took the edge off. Had to unhook them one day messing with the gas tank and I believe the tires left the ground a few times on 40
