    Hello All
I own a sharp, yet needing minor attention, 1950 F1, flahead. We live in Atlantic Beach, NC and want to connect with other F1 owners. Anyone know where to get better shop manuals and than the original FMC Shop Manual? Need more diagrams and specifics than the FMC book provides.

Are there any FTE get togethers in Eastern NC?

    Looking forward.

thanks for the welcome. as they say, i'd rather be pushing a ford than driving a chevy!

i'm in the process of getting my 1964 ford f100 restored. "she" looks good for her age and runs great but still needs some bodywork. (much like her owner!) this forum has been a huge help to me in researching parts, etc. so if there's any way i can give back just let me know.

Oooh ok. Even if I put in there that I'm not trying to get anybody from here? I'm passing word to my members about FTE as well. I'm not trying to step on anyone's toes here. Just trying to help FTE's publicity as well as my own.

Hey Ashley, Thanks for the warm welcome. I am in the Fayetteville Area. If y'all want to have a cookout or G2g, then let me know. My Apts have several BBq pits and an ice cold pool to take a swim in.

Thanks for the advise about shopping ebay for parts. I found at least 20 for sale. I have been reading about the manufacture date of the engine and how that matters as to things that ford put in the motor and left out. I do have the '03 which was their first attemp at the 6.0. Do you know where the date for the engine is located. I hear it is not the same as the truck manufacture date. Thanks, Clint

I have a question for you. The truck has been running rough and surging. I had the problem codes pulled and it showed p2285. This is the ICP sensor but they didn't have the sensor. (Autozone) I can't find the part on the diesel part websites. Can you tell me where to get the part # and the part itself. Thanks in advance for you assistance. fire
