thanks john ! plan is to install rear fenders to be street legal,so i can try and pass inspection. then i can drive it around to see if any problems pop out. i got a dump bed that needs alot of attention,that should end up on my truck. it should be like a ford script bed that dumps ! i got a earlyer ford script bed in my sights !!!

i had saved like 1/2 fenders for the front of the axle . and probably just a big truck mud flaps for the rear, i think i got a set of coil spring hangers somewhere for the rear mud flaps.

Hi Brian, just came across your thread. Beautiful truck, very nice job. Looks great. I’d love to have something of that vintage someday. We had an old White (40’s/50’s?) dump truck when I was growing up we would use around the property, this thread reminded of that.

Look forward to seeing what you do next.

finally got started ! i had a paint guy lined up to redo my paint job . he started this week ,my blue was of different shades , and alot of small mistakes i had made. i,m going with a base coat this time for a longer lasting finsh.

i need to built one john . it should be a temporary bed nothing fancy. i got my eyes on a script bed but the guys not quit ready.

whats your plan ! i measured today that a 3 inch x 4 inch (my frame 3 inches wide) x 11 feet .then i plan on plane 2x4 for crossmembers ,and 1 inch boards for a floor. with the 8 inches of high i will clear my tires and have some suspension travel.

I haven't even thought of it yet Brian, might not be until next year before I'm close to that part of the project..My deck will only be 9 or 10 feet at the longest..
