Have any posted any time slips, dyno numbers, anything !!! other than words ?
Datalogs loaded and unloaded with acceleration rate, etc all listed.
It's been a few pages for sure,so it's easy to forget...or is it the diesel fumes getting to you?
JL
well i agree about the stroker engine its self lasting longer, but what about the associated diesel parts around that engine. they are not cheap by any means. and when the diesel does go it wont be a cheap fix. and they have had alot more problems with the 6.0 and the 6.4 than any v10. BUT, you cannot compare power with a stroker. there is pros and cons to both sides of it. diesel:good power, better mileage v10: quiet! cheaper repairs, horrible mileage.
The mileage isn't as bad as some would have you to think. After owning 2 6.0's that got 15hwy empty and 12hwy towing 8500# travel trailer and going to a V-10 that gets 13.6hwy and 11hwy towing the same travel trailer, the mileage argument is nil in my case. My neighbor towed my travel trailer to the coast with his 08' 6.4 and only got 9, so it seems the mileage advantage is no more with an oil burner.

Jeeze, sorry !!!!!
Dunno HOW I could have missed (or forgot) one post outta 1050
Can u repost your numbers to see how they compare ?
(You should know by now... it don't REALLY matter to me) just love the verbiage vomit you usually get from some and no facts ....
or facts they make up

I've posted my findings before with datalogs to prove them.
In this thread post #30 has some of the datalog screencaps: https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/69...ml#post5611100
The basic summary:
Did 50-70mph runs because that's the typical speeds needed to pass another vehicle.
50-70 stock=5.29 seconds
50-70 tuned=4.68 seconds
That's an improvement of .61 seconds unloaded.
Then I hitched up 6000 lbs of travel trailer(30 ft long, and just over 11 feet tall),and repeated the same test.
Here's where proper tuning and power enrichment really shine:
Stock 50-70=13.51 seconds
Tuned 50-70=8.98 seconds
That's a HUGE improvement of 4.53 seconds. That's a long time to be on the opposite side of the road passing.
Tried to do 0-60,but it had rained earlier in the day,and it spun like crazy tuned, and some stock,so that'll have to wait for another day.

Ah, yes.....
those numbers are hard to measure for me
probably good real numbers for that scenario,
but not a statistically accurate measurement for comparisons
(and certainly unique measurements - gotta give u that ! )
what grade were you on ? downhill I can do better
60 foot, 1/8th mile, 1/4 mile ? those are more universal numbers that are usually used... even 0-60 is suspect usually....
Remember this one particular user here who was selling his wares and kept redefining the norms of measurement !!! I called him on it and I almost got banned because he was a sponsor
Somewhat like me saying I have 300 more kulas than you at peak rpm !
