Don't let the picture fool you. That trailer is loaded with gold, and weighs 10,000 #!.
Oh yeah, found out why the conversation keeps straying off topic - two of the good 'ol boys have picked up a couple Mustangs, and are retrofittin' them. One gets a 7.3, the other a V10....they're gonna settle this once and for all!
I remember many years ago, I was a senior in high school, My future father inlaw was a diesel mechanic, and a gear head from the late50's & 60's. We built a Camaro, she ran 8:10's at 168 mph. We used to line up in the days of Grump Jenkins... anyways, a rich kid shows up, with a buik opel and a bigblock in it blower the whole 9 yards. (Dean Skuza) It looked like a hotwheel, only in real life. Then Hank shows up with a Vega wagon,Big block blower ect... There seats were mounted toward the rear, in the middle. I still see cars with rediculouse power to weight ratio's, but mostly only in Michigan. Street car night at Milan. Thats somethin.
I also remember not to long ago, the V8 in the Focus conversion.
All that being said, it is only a matter of time, before somebody puts a V10 or a Diesel, in something small. Look there doin it with Motor cycles. The Boss Hoss has always made me smile.
