I don't know what the longest on FTE is, but the 7.3 OT thread has got to be close. This one has a long way to go to get even close!
As of a minute ago, the 'How many miles are on your trucks' thread started in 2002 and now is 127 pages long and 1,891 posts. Is there one longer than that?
BTW, this thread only proves that dudes love their trucks...regardless of what is under the hood.

Oh yeah I forgot about the 7.3 OT thread. I tend to stay out of those smoky lounges. I know the last I saw it was several thousand post so I guess this is not even close!

Im runnin 1500 rpm at 70mph. So i would definatley walk away from a v10.lol Obviously its not stock but ill take on a SC v10 anyday. Only had it up to around 100, to scared to go any faster on 38's.lol
100 on 38s? I have gone 100 with a load with a load and 105 empty.
That is on stock tires, I can not Imagen doing that on big tires.
He said earlier he did not have one. Maybe they don't put speed limiters on the vans.
Doubtful, that is why I am calling BS! You know, if people want to add to the argument, at least it can be truthful. He is saying the V-10 is better than the PSD because he can tow a heavy load at 100 and had driven it 105. Well that is tarded on many levels, the main one being who cares what it does on flat ground. I want to pull hills.
Anyways, a couple years ago, my buddy had a 2000 F250 7.3 and I did not start to pull away from him until we hit 120, then we caught up to some traffic. So take that!!! (that actually is a truthful story, I was in a Galant) But that is meaningless in this discussion because 98% of people buy a V10 to PSD to tow.

Do you mean that 98% buyers preferr the V10 for towing? I would find that interisting. Ya, purty cool thread.
none, I think the stock PCM setting is 105.
It was not a top speed run, I just over about 3miles gave it a little more and a little more tell the speedo was about 5mph past the end,
then I went back to about 95.
At 105 it was a little to drifty.

You need a speedo like mine! Above 95 it shuts off and quits recording miles.
I think it is crazy that Ford set a van's pcm at 105 yet limits the superduties to 95. My pickup is rock solid at 105 or better, guarantee it is much better handling than a van at that speed.
