Just a few flurries floating around here now. But the wind sure is still whipping it around. I can't tell how much we got today because of the wind but it snowed heavy for about 12 hours. I was hoping spring would be here by the time we get from California but I'm thinking we will still be able to go snowmobiling when we get back. Yes we have a lot of snow! And the long term forecast doesn't look that warm to melt it all before we come home.
So this will be my last post until I get back in two weeks. Everyone, try to behave. Jack, I hope you have good news by the time I get back.
i'm a carpenter/contractor. this was an unusual job for us, but it was fun. usually i try and stay on the housing side of things, but we personally know the owner of Harvest Meats so we get some business from them from time to time.
the CFIA required upgrades to the building to meet new standards so we were asked to do the work. working off scissor lifts installing pvc paneling overhead.
Our daughter used to work at Harvest Meats, she liked her job but had a reaction to the cleaning chemicals. Now she gets better pay and some over time working at the hospital.
harvest really seems to treat their employees well. there's endless supply of sausage in the coffee room, along with a sweet cappuchino maker and other stuff.
say, i see a chebby and toyota in your daughters driveway... how'd you raise that kid anyway???
