yeah i know! but i'm in oregon and the truck is in fremont, nebraska! where my dad lives.
and trust me i would if i had any...
and besides i'm not even prepared to go anywhere yet.neither is my dad.
So what are you planning to do with that truck Jack? Like are you going to pull someone else's trailer? Or get one and find work yourself? Start your own company, or sub contract under someone..?
i think my dad has a trailer! owner op status. he said FCC trailer! fremont contract carriers out of fremont, neb. yes!
i have to go with my dad on the road...
looks like a nice mild week here for a change, a couple days above 0!!!!
Thats much better than -39C like it was the other morning here. I thought we were done with that kind of weather for this winter. But it's supposed to cool down again by the weekend here. But i'll be off to warmer places by then so I don't really mind!
We are likely moving, and its stressful finding a home to move to , we all like.
Hve 2 that might wirk though.
just to another place in BC?? any particular reason??
i hate moving. we'll be in this current place until i can afford(or am willing to) build new, then that'll be it until our last piece of land... 3ftx8ft...

I do for sure want to stay in BC.
Just a little further north, and away from this scum bag place called kamloops.
the polution and father in law especially.
Self employed, powersport mechanic.
I specialize in 2 stroke motors, and hopping them up, especially for mountain sled use.
I build custom made sleds from scratch, and make parts for them.
Also do some fabrication, and welding, such as truck decks, sled decks and such.
I was going to be an automotive tech, but hated working on peoples boring cars and trucks, so did powersports instead.
My fav thing to do is ride mountain sleds, so it makes sense.
I have 8 sleds of my own, and a few are turbo's, one has a turbo and spray.
I keep building them, ride them for a while, sell them off, and build more.
that sounds like an awesome job!!! you must love it. i should give you a list of specs i'd like on a sled and get you to build one...
What sort of sled do tyou want?
I mainly take off weight, add power, set them up right, suspension and clutching wise etc.
Oh and ergonomics for the rider.
Me for example, i am tall, so like a real tall steering post.
i keep an eye to one side for a '02-'05-ish polaris RMK 700, or SKS700... i like a tall steering post too. i've been a polaris guy for quite some time, but the lastest looks of them are nasty to me. i've been eyeing up the new ski-doo's... rode one last year for a bit and the ergonomics are comfortable, power was superb, but i hate the price tags on something i can only use 4 months of the year, and its hard to find 3ft of snow here to justify owning one...
