Tell him to trade it for a Ford, much better overall truck anyways!!
And ya know Im just poking fun of the 6 liter
In all seriousness though, head studs will solve a HUGE problem your truck could or could not have. If you dont have warranty on it anymore, well that sucks, cause ya gotta lift the cab, or maybe even take it off, and its not cheap to do that.
If your down faithfull anytime soon, take a peek at the white 05-06 on faithfull at greenlight auto. I was checking it out the other night, and i think the price tag said 21k (might have been 27k now that I think about it).
Sure is a nice truck at a reasonable price........
With less than 100,000kms on it I should have warranty for a couple of more years, till sometime in 2010.
Of course you know the mileage won`t be a problem..........
morris,
down this way, only the engine is covered! not the tranny or anthing else.
but i'm no authority on this matter.i could be wrong! unless you get a extended warranty.
Maybe one of the gang above the broder has has this one. My auto hubs are driving me crazy. Reminds me of two employees. The dang things work in auto when they want to, not when I wnat them too. I can pull and hold vacuum at all connections, the switch seems to be working. I am starting the question the switch on the transfer case. Is it ties to the one on the fender? And if so, will it stop the hubs from locking?
Paul I think ive seen you post this in the 7.3 forum before.
When I had problems with mine, what i did was pulled a line off under the hood, and sprayed some wd-40 in the line, with the truck running. Wouldnt ya know but I havent had a single problem yet with it again.
My problem was I didnt use it enough, and things got stuck.
I forget though, what else have you all done to it?

I might as well give that a try. I have tried everything else. I fugured that the borthers up north in the frozen tundra would have a cure. Maybe this will work.
