heres some good news my dads coming up from fremont,ne. he got a load out this way.
he will be here next monday the 30th. i also asked if he was up to it, and he said yes.
we'll be pulling a FCC trailer. i also asked if i have to sign any papers yet and he said not yet. when i get my training done yes!! he said you'll be driving under my name!!!!
and my truck as an owner op...
so next week i have a lot todo.. i have to put a toolbox together and pack some clothes.and toiletries and that sort of stuff.

Sounds like your getting there Jack. I have been pondering more and more about buying a 98 western star that I have found for pretty cheap, and doing some owner operator work in the winter time.
Now that its getting to be spring, the calls are starting to come in, and it looks like business should be good, but the winter time is slow!

Hey is any you out their getting rain and lighting this morning. Its been raining for about 3 hours here around Russell . The lightning has quite ,but still raining. So much for going out ice fishing today. Roy

Still raining , but the wind has got up . Not going to be a very nice day here today. That just sucks , I was hoping to get out and wet a line and catch a couple of walley's before the end of the season here in mb. Oh well I guess I just hold down the couch so it won't run away. Well the wind is still blasting here I just saw a couple of my shingle hit front yard in the snow (Oh great another expense) It seems that you can never get ahead. Well I guess this might be the year I shingle the roof if this keeps up I wonder if ins would cover the wind damage that is taking these shingles off . Might have to price out some tin , that is what was on the house I had out in ON. This wind today is just sicking here.
