There is a reason people do the cummins motors in these old trucks = the best of both worlds and an all around, GREAT truck.

Not everybody wants to spend the time/effort do dump an IDI turd in there when for the same amount of fab you can have a much better motor...

Why, because we realize the benefits of a better engine & choose to go with it?

I can get wanting to see "different" and sometimes the different stuff can be cool. I just don't get giving up proven performance to be different - especially when I'm building this truck to perform.

So go ahead and continue to be "different" just because it's the "cool" thing to do in your mind, but I'll stick with more performance.

some people need a swap they can use buy a kit for i guess. seperates the men from the boys.

He knows - he used to follow the build. As you can see we're both opinionated and don't see eye to eye on some things & I sure that's why he stopped watching.

Shove the diesel I’m goina finish my project 74-79 ford but I wana stretch it and crew cab it any good finds on a decent crew cab for sale?

id love to weld a couple crews together and have a 8 door, with the rear 2 being backwards for suicide doors.

wipers on both ends too! be wonderful! a fastback crewcab.

heck weld a extend cab portion in the middle just for some extra "shock and awe!"
