WEll i picked up a 78 sclb 2wd rolling chassis testerday. Got the front stripped to just the coil buckets. Plan on a strecth to cclb and a 4wd conversion. Just gotta find a 60 first.

Theres an entire newer 89-97 f350 in pittsburgh craigslist the guy is parting. its got 460/5spd.
Any lines on a 60 front down there? Either 78/9 ford or 94 and up dodge?

Thanks for the heads up will look on the CL. All I've noticed this way is some unit bearing newer style. Haven't seen any Dodge ones recent. I'll keep my eyes open.

You have a model number or a pic of a tag? From what I've read there are several units out there. Some are underdrives, some are overdrives.
That and having to shift with a shift lever I'm not sure if it's the answer for me.
Still digging around the internet and looking up info on them truthfully.

hey trucknut we talked this a while back that when i posted some pics fer ya and gave ya part numbers and all. but it a 79 steer gear cut and boxed the frame thortend the steer rod an intertrashanal left tie rod end a right handed ford tie end and a ford coupler
