I had a guy that was gong to drive down from Iowa to get one of them a while ago, he never showed up? They have been in my local JY for years loosing parts every so often.
Both have titles and would be sold for the current $ on the lb for steel, I imagine. They are located in Humansville Missouri, want there #?
Scott's Salvage Yard
Address: 3406 South 30th Road, Humansville, MO 65674
Phone: (417) 754-2305
The women that answer the phone have no idea what is out in the yard, (cause there is so much) but you can ask about a title and if you wanted to buy a complete truck what it might cost.
All you need now is a truck, trailer, time and cash and its yours. Depending on when it is I can meet you there and help load it, and get the rear door panels back to you.
It not that bad a drive from WV, bring enough trailer and cash for both.....
Opinions/Suggestions Wanted: F250 SuperCab 4x4 Resto
Hey Guys,
I just bought a '76 F250 SuperCab Shortbed 4x4 w/a 460. It received a shorter VIN when the salvage title was issued to the previous owner but I'm guessing it was originally a reg cab long bed originally. Here is the VIN so maybe you guys can tell me what this means I have if that's even possible with a salvage title: (F10YKD049xx) I believe it to be either a '77 or '78 cab and was switched to a short bed. I think the gas tank on it is a 17 gal and I would like to put the oversized tank for sale from LMC Truck on it to increase my range. I plan to relocate the spare for it to fit. Can you guys tell me if this should fit given the info I have provided and if so, do you have any helpful hints for this project?
I am also stripping down the paint, gonna inhibit the rust with some product that you suggest and have painted in the spring. Gonna grind down the little **** that hold the clips on and finish w/out the trim down the side. I am taking pics and intend to start a tread on my project when I get a little more time but needs a little help in the meantime. I plan to remove the back set and either raise it up on a box for my amps and sub unless you guys have some other seat suggestions that might have merit. Probably just gonna recover the fold down bench seat in front instead of buckets or something more modern because my girl likes to ride bitch...and I wouldn't want to rock that boat.
Again, any suggestions you have would be appreciated.
Thx
Newbie Edit: Sorry Guys...just realized this was CrewCabs only...I just have a lowly SuperCab...my bad.

Reason: off-topic
negative. itll be getting a 12v cummins anyway. The nice thing is that other than the floors needing patched theres no rust holes. Most likely ill clean up the surface rust and let it go the way it is.
