Anyone ever put and extended cab body onto a single cab highboy frame? If so any suggestions on how to get the body panels lined up straight? I just set the cab on and found out the back of the cab is touchin the frame instead of resting on a body mount??
im talking about that ugly black one in the pictures, with the bed ruined and replaced with tubing. 99k is a joke.
Thanks for the opinion. Everybody has one & is welcome to theirs, but I'd have to disagree with yours & how setting a truck up as a prerunner "ruins" it.
Might be kind of like my opinion that guys doing wood door panels, shift ***** and dash trim stuff "ruins" a truck. Same thing with cab lights. Fugly as all hell! Not all people share those thoughts though.

I wanna say "Silverlake Sand Dunes", but I may be wrong.

You're currently posting in a thread about crew cabs only, so this probably wasn't the spot to ask & get the best answer, but there is a recent build there hear doing exactly that. Try searching a little & it should come up.

I wonder how much money is in it in parts.
My guess is he may have $30k in parts if you include the motor. I'd also guess his high price tag comes from him trying to get back the labor he paid to have it built, painted, etc. And then probably shipping from here in the Southwest to up North for all the parts!
As far as a true "prerunner" it seems to be a decent, but mild build. Just an autofab kit up front & then leafs in the back are fairly low end for a dedicated dirt truck like I think he wants that thing to be.
Add does not say 4x4, at least I could not find that statement. Looks 2wd and I see no lock in/out in the front wheel center hub, just a shiny cap like the rear one.

I have a pic of the interior and just realized that the back seat is a black one and will fit in the front of ol red very well. Jy run tomorrow and the yellow one does not look to have 3 pt set up belts. Maybe the blue one will?
