However, 78/79 are square headlights right? What year is this front end?
Too bad it's a 78 and has to get a smog check (in CA).

It has a outer grill shell/1 piece insert for a 78/79. But the round headlights (from what I read on here) make it a 78.

Frame Swap Question?
I have a 74.5 F250 Crew short bed 2wd and wanted to make it a 4x4. Some one told me it might be easier to just swap out the frame of one that already is a 4x4 then to try and convert it to a 4x4.
My question is what other years and cab styles had the 155 inch wheel base that the body could drop onto?

crew shortbed is 150" wb not 155". I missed that part sorry. A sclb frame will work. Youd have to move the rearend up 5" or shorten the frame right behind the cab. I used a sclb frame and just cut my bed to fit.
