OK,so what if truck stalls or is un drivable for a couple of days, just act dumb?
Moderators, please help me out here.
I'm continuing to see an increasingly more sarcastic tone on forums in general....can't we just keep it friendly? It's been bad enough lately that I've been sucked into some of it.
If these kind of comments continue, I am simply going to stop posting here.
I AM NOT TECH SUPPORT. I AM IN HERE ON MY FREE TIME, just for conversation. I am NOT going to say it again.
I'm not a moderator, but I think they will agree that the sarcasm (other than silly fun sarcasm) needs to end...this includes myself.
If I have to bring this up again, I'll simply stop posting here.
No one needs to post a reply on the subject, please just be friendly and patient as if we were sitting drinking a beer together.
No matter whose tuning product you buy, it has an 800 number. Use it if you have issues not discussed/answered in here.
Now...
I'll assume that you asked in a friendly manner: "I'm having some issues with my truck stalling and having trouble with drivability...can you please help?"
If you are having issues like that, superchips will make adjustments at no charge. Call them for an RA number, they will even pick up the shipping tab both ways if the tuner was purchased within the last 30 days

"Vic" is a guest of FTE and provides, freely, support and information for Superchips products. He is not paid by Superchips or FTE.
Anyone treats him rudely: you'll be shown the door.
Anyone expects him to handle return issues that you're too lazy to address directly by calling Superchips: you'll be shown the door.
Anyone doesn't show him common courtesy: you'll be shown the door.
Anyone acts sarcastically: you'll be shown the door.
The bottom line is Vic provides a valuable service to FTE users and if it comes down to you or Vic having to leave: it won't be Vic.
On Vic's part, if he see's anyone not treating him as the professional he is, please click the report post to moderator link on the post and we'll take care of it.
Im very sorry Vic if you thought I was being rude, didnt mean it that way. I beleive the SUPER CHIPS tuner is the best Ive seen, Im just very frustrated over the warrenty issue from FORD. Hope you will stay with good info! If your ever in MN. Id have a beer with you, Ill buy.
I am looking to get a tuner. I will certainly get it from Motorhaven, but wouldn't even have considered Superchips until I got on this site, and mostly due to Vic's support and advice. It is surely appreciated.
Had to tune it down to econ mode. Felt bad for my truck, living in Chicago, your never driving too fast. I feel like I'm driving my truck to hard! any one ever have problems driving hard in HP mode? what are the warning signs? NO EGT gages until June!
I run my truck in the HP tune. Unless you are on the throttle ripping through several gears every time you leave a traffic light I wouldn't worry about being on it too hard.
Unloaded I've never recorded any EGTs high enough to worry about - and that's with a stock exhaust system.

I still think that gauges are a good idea though.
I would agree with that I have seen 1385 unloaded at the hottest, and I was well in excess on 100mph.

Thanks for stepping up and apologizing….that’s cool
I feel a little better, I have banks exhaust on it and a air raid intake that is yet to be installed, and I know I need gages. But there are to many guys with their HEMI rams that think they have the toughest and quickest trucks on the road. I just like teaching lessons, If you know what I mean.
