I like the SNAPP filters. I like that I can see the media and if there is any “glitter” on it. Personally I think the billet filter head is a downgrade.
If the pump fails, one should be able to replace it without needing to replace any lines and injectors. That’s the idea anyway.
I definitely agree. The one thing that's nice is the transparency of the body. Personally I think it was a supply issue for them because it doesn't make sense to go from a 2 micron rated filter to a 9 micron rated filter.
Overkill - I am a
huge fan of the DD optics. They have a great beam pattern.
I'll have too see if anyone else flashes me or not. I set the adjusting screws About where they were on the OEM fog lights. I counted the threads visible. We will see what happens.
This past Wednesday when we do the night drive through the speed course, a fellow EVOC instructor was in front of me and said they weren't bad (not blinding him). He also said they were way brighter than my HEADLIGHTS.
I am going to buy a set of the SAE driving lights in yellow and Max power level at one point. But they make them for the wife's 2011 Escape. I'll get her a set first in SAE fog lights.
I drained the can today 760 miles since last drain. Draining during winter has to be done no later than 1k miles because of the water the can catches during the cold weather.
The moisture probably wouldn't be bad if it made it to the intake but it's the oil I want to keep out of the intake.

I've got say, if they make noise. I sure as **** cannot hear it. I usually have the radio on. I've slowed down a lot with the cost of fuel but I'm not driving slow.
I don't think you'll be disappointed Jolly, believe me.
DUDE!!! After all the rave reviews I've seen, I ordered the Centramatics and got them today and put them on. I just completed 140mi trip and they are legit. The hype is real. They can't overcome bad roads, but if you get on a stretch of decent road (not even great, just decent) the truck is so smooth. Reminds me of a 1970's vintage Cadillac coupe de ville but without the floatiness. The long term test will be to see if they can help the factory goodyears last.

Pretty neat, huh? I don't know what tires you run, but some pick up rocks more than others. Then with the Centramatics, the ride stays smooth since they dynamically adjust to the addition or deletion of rocks and even wheel weights. I too am hoping to see extended tire life. I've been running them since 12/2020, but I also run two sets of wheels & tires between winter and summer. So it'll take me longer to see an improvement.
You fellas running the Centramatic setup, did you have your tires pre-balanced during installation of the tires?
Centramatic claims tire balancing is not required unless an adverse vibration is present.
Yes. If you get new tires balanced, which is normally included when you buy new tires, then that leaves the weight in the Centramatics to compensate for the variations I mentioned in my last post. I think someone on here said you shouldn’t balance the tires, which didn’t make sense to me. So I called Centramatic, and they confirmed it is in fact better to start with balanced tire/wheels to compensate for other variations along the way.

I started running mine with my new 18 inch steel wheels and winter tires. Now I have my 20s on with my worn out Cooper Snowclaws to run them out until bald (or just about). It'll take time for me to see tire life improve or not.
I'll always start with balanced wheels/tires also.

Today, I noticed that the truck SL gauge dropped down to 80% from yesterday when she went up to 85%. I believe I have never saw that before. It then went back up to 85% later. I'm over 400 miles in and an active regen is coming.
