Pretty neat, huh? I don't know what tires you run, but some pick up rocks more than others. Then with the Centramatics, the ride stays smooth since they dynamically adjust to the addition or deletion of rocks and even wheel weights. I too am hoping to see extended tire life. I've been running them since 12/2020, but I also run two sets of wheels & tires between winter and summer. So it'll take me longer to see an improvement.
I'm running the factory goodyear wranglers, so they have some pretty deep tread yet and can pick up rocks. I didn't remove the wheel weights - that just seems dumb to me. Unless the balancing was WAY off previously (and it wasn't) you want to leave the weights on so that the centramatic can compensate from there.
Y’all are getting me excited about these! I am going to order some soon and install them at next tire rotation.
This forum has a way of causing wallet drainage. In this case though, it's more than just a nice doodad for your truck. Ride quality for me was noticeably better and with the price of tires the centramatics will pay for themselves, if tire life can be extended. To me, the ride quality improvement alone is worth the price of admission.
I guess this is building back better? Annual fuel shortages under the current administration (pipeline shutdown last year). Thanks for the heads up at least
