This is part of what the guy in Buford, GA (powerstrokehelp) recommends. I figure if Death Wobble becomes an issue, I'll take it to him instead of Ford seeing that my truck chassis is out of warranty now.
Thanks. I've looked into LED replacement bulbs for my truck before. I'm not against it but my problem would be winter time and a possible problem with the headlight assemblies icing up in winter time. There's one I looked at that vented inside the housing itself to pull cold air in and vent the air inside the housing to keep it clear of ice. I'll post up here for FYI when I get a chance -- I'd have to find them again.
As long as I could get them in 5K instead of the more slightly blue 6k, I'd consider buying them.
Another thing, the placement of the LED chips is important and has to mimic the placement of the incandescent filaments so the light output is similar as the reflectors were designed for incandescent bulbs. If not, they will be a lot of light scatter and possibly blinding oncoming drivers.

I haven't noticed an issue with icing, but I don't drive my truck much in the winter and we haven't had much snow this winter.
As to color - mine are bright white, no blue.
Placement of the LED chips is critical. I also wanted bulbs that were adjustable so I could clock them to ensure the "blade" of the bulb was straight up and down.
Planning on getting these installed soon. Here are pics until I take install pics.
These are definitely some quality pods.
Long heat sinks sticking out the rear of the lights.
High quality instruction sheet.
Looks to be stainless steel hardware.
Quality adapters for plug and play.
And a spare harness I believe if you did not have a set of factory fog lights installed.
Awesome pictures and feedback regarding our SS3 LED fog light kit. We're excited to see them installed on your truck!

Thanks John. I am going to post up install pics here as well that could help other folks who decide to buy a set.
I can't wait to see these torches light up the back roads I drive. Stay tuned.

Another great point... Adjustibility. Good to hear yours work for you.
