thank you. I’m happy with it. I’m definitely not a pro at it. But it was the first time doing something like that. So I feel like they turned out pretty decent

Well huge disappointment today. My bbk long tube titanium ceramic coated header came in and they don’t fit. Everything I’ve read said these 1569 351w fox swap headers were the best fitting ones. So now I’m not sure what what to do.

From those pics it appears to be more of an engine/trans fit problem rather than a chassis fit problem. It makes me wonder if they are mis-boxed or mis-marked and they're 302 headers instead of longer 351 headers. OTOH, if you are sitting at final ride height, you're too close to the ground for clearance. Something is definitely amiss. You might contact the manufacturer, not the seller, and show them the pics and see if they have any words of wisdom for you.

The truck is not air up up in the pic. They are stamped with the right part number that I seen. They clear the frame and every. But hit the trans.

someone on here ordered a few different headers an these were the ones that fit best. And being in Canada is a challenge to send any thing back

I doubt sending them back is a viable option . Could something similar to this be used as a spacer ?

I’ve considered putting a spacer in there. Do you think they would seal properly or would I have exhaust leaks all the time.

I don't know what trans you are using but my 351w longtubes ( don't remember what they are ) clear my AOD . As far as leaks , longtubes are inherently worse . I have 10" long stainless flex to go directly behind the collectors to absorb allot or all of the leverage that the headers produce . I would think with high quality gaskets and a few run- retighten sequences it would work .

Running a c6 trans the passi stuff I might be able to bend maybe. Going to see if it’s possible to do on the driver side as well

This seems like an interesting idea. it's only .31" thick might need 2 per side. The description has recommended gasket products listed as well.

Ya I just picked one of many , there may be thicker options . Another possibility would be to get a machine shop to plane a spacer at an angle as it would only take a minimal degree to make a huge difference at the bottom .

That’s a good idea. Wouldn’t take much of an angle to make a big difference at the collector

Finally went and met Morris. had a great visit with him and scored a nice door and a tinted back glass. My pass door was toast so I’m money ahead by swapping it out. Got all the window stuff swapped as well what a pain. But I figured out that the bottom of my glass holder has a broken off roller piece causing it to roll up crooked.
door still needs some major adjustments. Have to slam it to get it close.
