In the pic. On the left hand side was tight. The right hand sided did have some slack it in. Mileage not sure to be honest. It was an old farm truck off ours.

It looked a little slack on the driver side in the picture and why I thought I should mention it. After changing mine the chain was pretty tight both sides....

Ok. Thanks John. I’ll look into a new one. Does it come as a set with gears. Or just chain?

Cruising Summit racing and now I’m more confusing. There’s some there for $80-$250. I have no idea what is what. 1 piece fuel pump, 2 piece fuel pumps.

That looks like the one I put on mine and the same that came off. Mine is from an 83 F150, sounds closer to what I paid now that I'm thinking about it, I know it wasn't as as expensive as I had imagined before going to buy one..

Is this one a single chain? The one on the engine right now has dual sprockets. This appears to be the same width but just a single sprocket. But if this one works the same it’s cheap insurance.

That one on Amazon I posted was a double chain, I'd replace with the same as you have now..

I didn’t even realize that was a link to a chain. Thanks.
