thanks jrock. I will look into it. I haven't been having much luck with the explorer axle. the one I thought I had lined up was gone when I went back to pull it. for now I might bring the frame into the garage and start mocking it up with the 9" I have out of the 84

My rear came in the 4 link kit. Fronts are standard mustang II coilovers but adjustable

when I finally order the MII it comes with the coil overs, but the rear I have a kit from welder series so I will have to order coil overs for it. I am having trouble pulling the trigger on the speedway kit, they want $500 USD just for shipping, then there will be duties on that as well, but I will self clear customs and save some money there

I'm sure there was an install on here a few years ago but I don't remember who's . For some reason I think it may have been one of our overseas members because if memory serves the salvaged unit was out of a vauxall or something similar . It's certainly a route I would investigate if I were to do it again .

Little more progress. Got it to my place in garage. And started tearing it down.

ended up selling the 9" out of the 84 f150 and bought one out of a 68 merc truck. also found the rest of the suspension that I need to complete the front MII. hopefully pick it up on wednesday. then I should be able to start putting the frame together and hopefully get a rolling chassis. still need rear shocks

So picked up some more parts. Got a 9” that should work now. And the rest of the MII front suspension.

Does anyone have any info on shocks like these. Was told they are shockwaves. But can’t find anything on them. No markings or part numbers.
