I got my carpet kit from Dennis Carpenter or LMC Truck, it was pre-cut to accommodate that piece.

For the one I'm working on now I bought a roll of marine rubber backed carpet from Amazon.
because of the transmission tunnel I had to cut and install the carpet in three pieces. I cut a slot in the carpet
to go over that angle . today I made patterns and cut carpet for floor mats and the wife was able to sew binding around the outer edges..

Well I ended up cutting it out. There was only 6 spot welds, that carpet looks good John.

I have been looking at places for carpet never did look at LMC. But I was looking at TMI but then someone said to go with ACC, there is a dealer in Canada, I think it was around $900 for the carpet and floor mats. I don’t know if that came with the mass backing though, the Canadian website never mentioned it like the ACC website did

It is from ACC ( Auto custom carpet )
it is the Essex carpet kit and it doesn’t come with the back wall carpet. They sell yards of carpet, so I bought the kit and xtra yardage to cover the back wall.

That’s the carpet I’ve been looking at. That the kit w/o the gas tank in cab. Did it fit right. I’m thinking about floor mats as well

It fits pretty good. The Essex is thicker than their others so a little bit harder to work with.

I figured before I put the sound deadener on the floor. I should maybe do some seatbelts. I kind of copy John’s design a little bit, they are a little smaller than the ones that you would buy. I’m not sure where to mount the lower retractor because I would like to purchase the ABS back wall cover and not sure how that’s gonna factor in

That’s one option going on that lower brace

The other option I was thinking was halfway up the wall on this brace

Wouldn’t happen to have picture. I pulled these belts out of the Mustang parts car, so the retractors have no cover kinda ugly lol. Not sure what I’ll do about that.
