Ford Trucks for Ford Truck Enthusiasts
Makes me wonder if some colors are more susceptible to paint chips / flaking?
Mine is Blue Jeans.
My 1985 F250 with a blue metallic paint did flake however after over 5 yrs and Ford did repaint the hood and top. The rest of the truck did not need attention.
Anything else a person should look for when they take delivery of a new truck? I'm gonna try the Media tray cover, and make sure the hubs are unlocked. Any other pointers when at the dealer?
Are these chips that go completely through to the metal? Or are they just into the clear coat?
