I've heard of Treadwright before, many years ago. The fact that they are still around is a good sign to me. You can't beat the prices, even if they are retreads. Hopefully they last you, and you can get them to ride fine.

FWIW, most retreads go through a more vigorous inspection than New tires. Also, 90% of the tread you see laying on the road, are from New tires, not retreads. People have a bad misconception about retreads. I used to.

They are more round than most new tires are...
That's what I'm saying... read treads role up and down the road everyday on trucks that weighs 80k pounds.
I sell about 1000 retreads a month. About 800 new. The failure rate is higher on the new ones.
That's crazy.
Tracking numbers say they will be here today! I kinda got ahead of myself and ordered them early, I'll probably still ride on what's on the truck for a couple more weeks.
I sent plenty of years as a mechanic, and alignment tech for a huge tire dealership. We/they also did Bandag retreads, and the process is high tech. But, there's no way on this planet, that I'd put a retread on the front of anything that myself, or my family would be in. Tho there really aren't illegal, I'm just not a fan.
That to me is an accident waiting to happen.
