If the charge lasts a week at least you'll have some cooling! And looking at the forecast for the next 7 days, it looks like mild weather so that works in your favor too. Hopefully you get lucky and only need to replace an O-ring.

It be nice if that is the fix, just need to see what O-ring it is, is it valve to manifold or line to the valve?

I also need to look into why 1 side of my bumper driving / fog lights is not working?
I knew the fog or driving bulb did not work but now both bulbs in that 1 light stopped working?
When fixing the bulbs I need to make some adjustments to the light brackets so I can adjust / aim both of them better.
A project is never done!

How you making out on that bouncing tach?
If like me and the car is running good I might leave it till I had a little more time to mess with it.

Dont think I will be doing much next few days as I cant shake this cold
Yesterday the wife & I went to a urgent care about 11:00 am and they were not taking anyone for the rest of the day!
They gave another place for 1:30 pm time slot? So much for URGENT CARE!

On the way home the we picked up 2 Covid tests.
Yep the home test came back positive for both of us.
Waiting for our doctor to open today to check in with him to see what to do next.

The wife called a few different places and it sounds like we had covid for more than 5 days for the wife and almost 2 weeks for me, but the test showing positive is kind of normal

I just have this cough from when I fist got sick and cant get rid of it.
I have coughing fits that I have hard time breathing. It would not be bad if I could cough up stuff but nothing
Because of the time we both have had it no one wants to see us as there is nothing they can do to help us.
And my doctor is useless as he has not called back since 9:30 this morning! Think its time for a new doctor.

Other than this cough for me and a little cough for the wife, we dont feel all that bad but may take another day off from work to try and shake this cough.

Thanks for the wishes

It seems 5 day isolation if you test positive is the common thing. No telling how long that cough might last though!
I think I am not going to worry about the tach for now, and probably do that column mounted aftermarket mini rally-pac in the future. I have too many other projects ongoing as it is. I'm still painting / repairing sheet / moving **** around / cleaning and moving cabinets in my garage.

Well after talking to a few different people in the know and the doctor the wife is in her 7 day after the onset of Covid.
Me I am coming up on my 2nd week, We were also told we do not need to stay locked up.
They also say a positive test at this point is normal go figure.
The doctor gave the wife 3 different drugs and me 4 so I hope to kick this soon.

It sounds like your plate is full.
Looks like this weekend may be a wash out with weather so you may have time to hit some of the things needing doing LOL
If it is wet and no shows I may head to a Auction in Smithfield.
Got my eye on a trailer if my car will fit. That reminds me I got to measure the car.

sorry to hear about you and your wife having the ick. When they said i had it the dr told me i just had a cold. Felt more like the flu to me. But test said i had the ick. But at that time they were finding the tests were 99% inaccurate with how they were running them.

Routine inspection started out as needing brakes. Found the passenger side front caliper was dragging and went ahead to replace it and the flex line.

In the process of changing the front and rear brakes i found i had a nail in what was the driver rear that i had rotated to the front during then inspection phase.

when i went to come home after doing the brakes the power steering pump started screaming. I dumped 2.5 qts of fluid into the system thats supposed to only hold 2 qts. It kept disappearing. Turns out the rack seals went bad internally and filled the accordion boots on both sides full of the fluid i kept adding.

took a week to get the parts again. Since i was having to change the rack i went ahead to change the tie rods since the boots were blown out anyways.

while i was doing the rack and tie rods i changed the struts too since i was going to need an alignment anyways. Theyd been on the car since it was new. So figured 18 yrs old it was time to change them. And apparently i was right. They never expanded when i compressed either of them.

and while i was doing the struts i noticed the ball joint boots were non-existent. I grabbed some new ones on the way home when i turned the rack in for the core.

Just got them changed out today. Notice the old boots are completely missing. My fiancé was around today when i was working on the ball joints. And figured it was a good opportunity to take pics of me working. Lol.

When i was doing the pass side i kept realizing i left all the tools on the driver side i needed.

Id made the joke apparently after shed taken the picture that pulling on the breaker bar to get the old ball joint out felt like i was using one of them exercise machines that mimics rowing a boat. She started shouting everytime i went to do a pull "STROKE!!! STROKE!!!! STROKE!!!"

New ball joints in.

so now the mustangs awaiting its appointment on wednesday for its alignment.

When I got sick a few weeks back it also felt like the flu but it was after I saw Urgent Care and they did not even ask if I wanted a test.
It was not till I got home with drugs that I felt like I got hit by a truck. Other wise it was a head cold.

We are both on drugs now and if I can kick this cough I feel pretty good.

Shawn,
You only had the rubber bushings to replace and the whole front end would have been rebuilt LOL
It is something how 1 thing leads to 10 more

When I moved in to the house the PO was a farmer and I think when he sold off his equipment or maybe bought equipment?
Used Jason Aycock Auctioneering and they send flyers for auctions. http://aycockauctioneering.com/

The one in Smithfield is May 14th, 10 am rain or shine
Michael Barbour & others
2950 Packing Plant rd,
Smithfield, NC.
Cash or good check. Bank check may be needed on new customers on larger items.
No Buyer's Premum

I just seen the "cash or good check" so dont know how that would work out for me trying to sneak money from the wife for something LOL
Again if raining and no shows and being close to me I may go just to check it out but do have my eye on a enclosed trailer if the car will fit. will see.

Mustangs steerings way tighter than it was. Never realize how loose things have gotten till you have to do a ton of work to a vehicle. Now its tight like it was when i first bought it 18 years ago. Cant believe the difference.

I have this old torque wrench, it was too long to fit in my tool box so it always sat on top of the box instead. Even though it's inside the garage it's exposed to humidity and over the past 20+ years just got rustier and rustier. My daughter bought me a new one for Fathers Day a couple of years ago and that one comes with a plastic case, so it is well protected.

I was halfway thinking to toss this one, and then got to thinking about how ATF eats rust. So I looked around and got a scrap piece of 2 inch PVC pipe and put a plug on one end, filled it with ATF, and set the torque wrench down in it.

How long do you figure it will take? I was thinking maybe I will check it once a month to see how it goes.

Pretty rusty on the business side.

Back side is even worse!

Filled with ATF; now we wait.
