Well to give you an idea I am eventually doing a custom exhaust, 3d carbon body kit, 1.5" lowering kit, led spot lights behind the grille, some bigger rims, appradio or similar, maybe a supercharger or small turbo and some helwig sway bars lol...not too maby ideas but a few.
Yup its been done, I was looking to gey better mpgs by lowering it slightly. Honestly I agree though I am a lift it type person. I will post a pic of what I am going for once I get back to my computer.
Same with the pot holes here. Everyone has their own style. If we were all the same, this would be a really boring place to hang out.
Agreed!
Here is a pic of the new grill emblem from Billet Badges! Powder coated black with the charcoal gray filled text. I got it in last night i waited forever for it, I am going to pain tmy side vents that are poorly chromed on the grille and then stick this puppy on to complete the grille.
that is a 9" oval with powdercoating and paint so it is fairly large keep in mind but it was $120 however without powdercoating and just polished that takes $20 off and the painted text costs $20 it was $10 cheaper than a raw oval which is $90 with the ford text but that is because they make a ton of this style. One with just the blue background i think is like $100 keep in mind that it is a 9" oval so the smaller the cheaper like the 99-07 tailgate oval would be $90 with my options.
This is what i am aiming for in the expy only a red/tan twotone obviously its a 1.5" drop and 22" rims on stock size (originaly diameter) tires.
Ya personally not my style but I will still be interested on what you end up doing on the rest. Their is a expedition your style black that runs around on a 2.5-3" lift I would say running bigger tires and a set of XD 17" wheels like Warren has on his King ranch.
I am not exactly against lowering as really I don't mind a nice lowered car or truck in 2wd but 4wd is a different question. Of course you won't be brining your expedition off roading like most of our 4x4 trucks see so I guess it is ok.
Anyways I really like the grille emblem might have to look into something like that for my 88 F150 and the 02 F250.
