Hmmmmm.... that is interesting. But the bump stops haven't changes. They are cast onto the knuckle. Maybe it is the box.... like the shaft was not installed in the proper rotation.... so in theory it could turn more alft than right because of the pitman arm not being centered.
Yeah i noticed one day when i was back ing into a spot at work and i heard metal on metal rubbing and i got out and saw my pitman arm was contacting the spring. My turning radius does seem to be any different right or left but when i was comparing with Dennis (Drey04) he has the same setup and no issues. the steering box is all i can think of that is different.

Its a drop pitman arm so in theory its the same as standard springs and a regular arm.
now that i think of it Dennis and i were going back and forth and Dennis you have lift springs right? i have add-a-leafs in the front so i have less or an arch in my springs, i remember we talked about this lol.

lol yeah life went crazy for a while and is still crazy... but I still lurk around on the forums. Yes I have lift springs in the front... 4" skyjackers, which have sagged over time and are probably for more like 3" now haha
Yeah I have more physical leafs now than Dennis does so the thicker leaf pack might be my problem with the lift. Mine is like 3" now as well after sagging and will likely be 2" once the cummins goes in lol.
Life's been getting crazy for me as well, its starting to settle down though so i can finally stop lurking and start working again lol.
Yeah, maybe ill wait on the steering box until i get the 4" springs in once i move to the front axle.
Thanks! I'm hoping to test fit the Cummins this weekend to see how she sits in there and where i have room for Turbos and if i can fit the SAE3 adapter or if i need a Destroked Trans adapter.
Im a little late to the party but good job getting the 5.4 out of there! Also, for those egr tubes, hit the flat side of the nut with an air hammer and spray some pb blaster down in them. They come right off after the air hammer. Also, with that egr manifold, you can cap the egr port off and use it as a plain manifold.
Thanks, If i end up keeping the motor that is my plan but for now i am going to fix the EGR tube that bent slightly when removing the motor and get her back together and tied down to a dolly.
