I know there are so many options that look good from the front but not the side which kills me inside. the general jest I am taking away from this though is everyone is saying go aftermarket mostly lol. The Fusion bumpers do not look bad and they have several LED light brackets as options that I can now utilize.
I have my mind made up on the fab fours rear though I really like that one..the front though man I can't make up my mind lol or if I even want to just go new OEM.
I can say that I don't like the mix of aftermarket and stock. I'd say do all or none lol

I am thinking the same way. Matching one way or another. I personally would stay away from Road Armor, heard of a lot of shady business practices from them customer and business related.
Let me throw an idea out there.... Instead of paying all that money for a pair bumpers, use it to but a nice MIG and build one yourself. Then it will be uniquely yours.
A Hobart 190 is going to be my next big purchase. I want to make some stuff for the Ranger. And I think having a welder available is a must. It lets you fix so many more things and can really get you out of a bind with some stuff like broken studs and things of that nature.
I agree and disagree with the mismatching. Aftermarket front and stock rear looks fine. Other way around, no deal. I also agree about the iron cross, road armor and most other premium winch bumpers. Sweet from head on, but from the side they look like a mutated chin. If I could find one I would get a fab fours black steel elite front and rear bumper. But I also really like the stock front 05-07 front end and have been searching for a 08-15 rear. Those after market bumpers are awesome. But I dont have a winch, dont plan on taking it offroad and I have tow hooks and a chain to pull people out.
My neighbor turned me on to it. He use to use it in the machine shop on all sorts of stuff. It puts a wicked shine on chrome and because it is a mild abrasive, it will remove rust. It is really big with the Harley crowd (from what I understand). I used it to remove scratch from my clearcoat successfully. I know they do free sample. You may be able to get a sample for work... lol

Thanks! I'll try it out, i just want it to look nice again so i dont need the bull bar to hide it lol.
BTW here is the bed i am sorry for the kinda poor pictures it was at night and i needed the flash to even get a picture.
ready for this...
The front three sills need to be replaced the back one could stay but i think if i'm gonna replace 3 out of 4 and one has a year or two left then all 4 are gonna get replace now rather than remove the bed again to fix it. Does anyone have the dimensions of each cross member so i can order some square stock? Mine are uh...kinda hard to measure right now lol.
yeah...didn't entirely anticipate the amount of rust there was i guess i had a slight glimmer of hope that they were ok but i pretty much eliminated that when i pulled that chunk off lol. New England hates me lol
I am going to purchase some prebent stainless steel brake lines simply because i am running out of time and I've never done brake lines before so it will take me a while to do it, the prebent lines will cut it down to just screw on and bleed at least which should be really quick relative to starting with a coil of copper lines.

Copper would definitely be ideal for your situation with the salt. And I believe there was a thread a few months back about the bed supports I think you can buy them off eBay and they're much thicker then factory.
Prebent would be nice, but bending your own really aren't bad. Especially with the copper. But it will definitely take more time.
On the bright side, you're bed floor is in tact. That would be an even bigger pain in the ***...
Yeah i am so grateful that the floor is ok, I may try to bend up a few this weekend to see how long it takes. Honestly i really plan to not drive this anymore in the winter despite how well it does in snow now lol. There is so much rust that i need to fix and have fixed that i will save money by not driving it in the end lol. I think the deciding factor is going to be when it is when i am ready to do them like if its in 2 or three weeks before i can even touch them then i am going prebent and will have the parts to eventually replace them again.

I found those ebay supports a long time ago and i thought about it but I am still undecided on what i am going to do with replacement supports yet. I think i am going to do bolt on ones because if they ever rust again it will be a simple unbolt and bolt back on again without having to cut the welds off again.
Recieved some fantastic news today...its supposed to snow Sunday!!! looks like i will be setting up my EZ up over the frame to keep her dry tonight. New plans in light of this is the cowls will be POR'd tonight and the the plastic cowl will be painted tonight and installed tomorrow morning. I will wire wheel everywhere i can tonight and paint as much as i can while I'm at it. I have more POR and chassis Coat black on the way and should have it by Friday however this weekend its going to ran all day and snow lol.
In other news, I sent out my headlights last week to Plain an Simple by Design to have them retrofitted because they offered $300 in labor to do all the work and have them sealed perfectly. With my time frame and for the money i couldn't argue with that price, they will be shipped out tomorrow and i should have them Friday or early next week as well.
Also i received my F150 air bag today and will be painting it and the steering wheel this weekend. My 08 lift springs will be here tomorrow and my conversion hangers will be here this week as well. All my parts are coming in so i am kicking it into high gear and getting as much done as i can in the time i have left.
