If you get a bolt on stainless exhaust, sell it when you don't need it anymore. I'm sure someone would buy it. It will probably still look brand new.

I agree with only doing it once, but I think 4" exhaust on a stock 5.4L is overkill

Lol yeah it definitely is but that's not a bad idea, maybe i could even move it over to the 95 with a few modifications since it's a shorter wheel base when i eventually put the 5.4l in that lol...so many ideas!

I bed that would work good, especially if you did the Gibson Super truck. Its so simple, moving it to another vehicle would have to be very simple.

Yeah ill have to look into it does that mount infront of the rear wheel? If it sounds mean and can be moved with the engine later than why not.

The crew cab short bed model is the only one available in stainless. They sell other exhausts for extended cab short bed, but I don't see why the crew cab short bed model wouldn't work. It should just mean changing the intermediate pipe to accommodate it.

Cool, i could just cut down the one that comes with it if it comes with one then. Thanks man I'm definitely looking into that now so my truck can sound good and look good instead of look good and sound...normal lol.

I am getting really good at spending your money I hope your fiance isn't as expensive as I am...

I was going to put a super truck on my old F250 at some point, but never got to it. Then I bought the cherry bomb, so I am going to stick with that for a little while lol. I'll get it installed eventually. Next one will be a Borla or Magnaflow. Pay the cash once and be done with it.

haha yeah this forum in general is good at spending my money, she isn't though she's a saver so that will slow me sown now that she has some control lol.

I'm only going to do it though because i can move it to the 95 easily and the 95 will sound nice once it's done then as well and my 04 will sound good until she gets the 12v

You may actually want to wait on that because I'll be you have to replace the factory y-pipe from the rust

I dont know about the whole stainless looking better thing...granted i didnt buy the 304 stainless because thats just way too much for exhaust, but i had a gibson 409 i think stainless on my 5.4, duals, and it looked horrible after a year. I had an aluminized MBRP on this truck since i bought it last february and i just took it off a month ago and sold it and it looked brand new. just put another aluminzed MBRP on..just a bigger size

what are the factory pipes made with stainless? good to know about the aluminized thought because everyone always says just go stainless because the aluminized rots out quickly. I've never gotten an exhaust before so i have no experience and can't comment on either.

Either way you can see in one of my pics hat my rear hanger is broken and held up with a hose clamp but every now and then the hanger hits the leaf springs and causes this ungodly screeching noise and drives me nuts! so it would be nice to fix it or replace it with a new exhaust soon.
