Nice and I agree. Do it once, do it right, and forget about bothering you again.
I wish my vacation wasn't at the beginning of the summer... nothing to look forward to lmao.
How did ring shopping go?
Yeah my girlfriend has been gone for the pat month because she did a semester in Italy studying abroad so she will be back on Wednesday so I've been looking forward to august and vacation for a while lol.
Good thanks for asking, i have a style picked out and everything I'm going to go by a local store though tomorrow before i make a decision so I'll probably have one picked out before the start of next week. I'm hoping they might have it in her size and everything so that i can get it before we go away but if not oh well i can wait until we get back I'm not in a rush.

I'm sure. I miss Nicole after a long weekend lol. A month is a very long time.
No prob. You can always get it sized after the fact if you were looking to do it at the beach. Just get a rings spacer to make it fit her finger for the week lol A lot of places are very flexible on that stuff. And don't forget to haggle them on price diamonds are always way over priced! Just remember, emeralds are 10 times rarer than diamonds... look what has the higher sticker price
Haha yeah it's been a long month but it's almost over, thats good to know I will be going by the store in the morning for when they open. Dont worry ill haggle on the price lol I want to get the best deal possible.
Hey guys, it rained all weekend so i didn't make any progress on the truck itself but i started my HID Retrofit here is a quick picture.
this thing was a PITA to get to fit because the only shrouds available for it (X lens D2s Projector) are shallow so that when the projector is screwed down with the trimmed H13 "nipple" the shroud has about a 3/4" gap between it and the reflector so i have to cut it out and custom make the reflector ill get more pics of it tonight once i remount it into the headlight housing.
Also got some LEd headlights for my Expy and they aren't that bad!

Headlights look great!
When you say "aren't that bad" did you have low expectations?
lol no i just wasn't sure how the quality was going to be i got them on Amazon to match my LED fogs and switchbacks. Honestly i would get them over any HID kit now that I've have them. The fit is kinda odd though...they sit 45* off so instead of lighting the top of the reflector they light the top right so i think they are not fully locked in yet, i will try again tonight to adjust the H13 adapter because it didn't seem to lock in like the regular bulbs do but it was dark and the mosquitoes were nuts because it stopped raining lol.
I'll get an output of the LED's tonight they are 100x better than the stock bulbs and my old HID kit i put in for a few days out of my truck just to try them.
What do you guys think about painting my headlight reflectors charcoal gray? I would use the same paint i used on my dash so it would be glossy and maybe keep the chrome shroud or paint that too or i can just stick with chrome.
I could, i personally like the black frame over gray. I was just thinking cause that could hide some of the gaps in the shroud if there are any when I'm done...so friggen time consuming to do the retrofits lol. If the shrouds were deep enough i could have had both done by not but i only got half of one done.

I do like the black. It works with the theme of your truck. I only suggested charcoal because it makes your light's one of a kind.
96GrimReaper painted his lenses on his 2014 and I'm just not sure I'm wild about them.
Do what you think is best. You have done an awesome job thus far. I defer to your good judgement
I got my spare removed finally found the spare tire carrier key in my old glove box lol i never cleaned it out. To my surprise the carrier turned over with no issues and showed no signs of rust on the cable except the first 4-5 inches where it sticks out to the spare tire.
So much room for activities!
The spare rim is in pretty rough shape though its flaking off everwhere.
The brake lines on my rear axles looks sketchy as well hence why the whole truck is getting new ones.
Also the Ex tank should be in this Wednesday, the shipment got delayed by a few days.
I know the only thing that has kept me from getting an exhaust is the fact that I'm eventually doing a 12v...maybe i can do something with what i have to prep for it lol. Why spend money for the same thing twice when you can spend it once.
