I used the fluorescent paint from HiPo parts when I had my cluster apart to change the voltmeter.
Post a picture of it in the dark with the gauges illuminated.

I used the same paint, I'll get a picture of it here in a few once it gets dark. I'm loving the long days now, 7:41 PM right now and it's getting to dusk now.
You should take out the color filters and put in green 168s (a little brighter than 194s). You'd get a bit more light that way.
I actually have red lights in my gauges and they're really easy to see at night. Plus they don't mess up my night vision. Out of all my vehicles I can see the best at night driving my truck.

In person they are surprisingly pretty bright at full blast, more than bright enough for me lol. Maybe I should put in hot pink light bulbs as well as the gauge needles?
Jim, here's your picture, turned out like crap. I can't see anything through the camera screen, but I can see the gauges perfectly light up in person.
Now here's a night shot with flash.
The flash is hitting just below the tachometer needle so the florescent paint might be making the needle look different than the rest? they all look the same in person.
Well, we got another ton of wood pellet fuel today, the truck has about double the towing power with the new exhaust system than it used to, here's some pictures.
It's not even half way to the overload blocks lol.
