Anthony I give you credit where credit is due. You sure are doing an excellent job of improvising. I shouldn't really be saying this as a tech myself, but I've come across lots of techs that have big fancy expensive Snap-On Toolboxes full of the most expensive Snap-On tools that couldn't fix a goddamn sandwich if their lives depended on it. Although to be brutally honest with you, never having been this deep into a 6.0L, the only tip I can offer you, is to be careful when pulling that cam out the rear of the block. Don't forget your piston cooling jets too.

That means the world, thx for the encouragement. But,,,,,,, what do I do now boss. Lol. I've only got 8 bolts left on the teardown. Holy crap. I'm waaaay into it huh. Funny on the sandwich,,,, lol literally.
Yeah, I'm gonna think about removing the cam for a sec. Not a hurry up thing for sure. Cooling jets now. Wonder if they have orings. Should huh. Lets find out.
I've said it before probably more times than I can count in my numerous posts, the cam is LITERALLY the very last part removed from the engine block....... and the very first part installed during assembly.
I guess you're the very first one I have come across to have actually dug up the patience and the willingness to spend the money needed to go this deep.
What else can I say? Once the cam and piston cooling jets are removed, I guess your block is ready for the big hot tank if that's what you're planning to do.
Yes sir,,, hot tank. I'm gonna try and find a part number for a std size overhaul kit. I'm gonna have the block checked, and if its within spec, heck with boring. Sending the cam off, hopefully get the crank polished then reassembly. I am getting the heads done tho.
Ur right tho, it's the VERY last thing, It's her panties. Lol
