That is not sand, it is a pile of gravel at a old quarry turned into Pit Bull Power Sports Can-am sales place and off road park.
No that is not Penny, it is one of my granddaughters. No ol red is still red, that black/blue one the grandson is driving is the SIL (son in laws) 76.
I am not old..... I am well aged, or well seasoned with some chrome. I have 7 grandkids. Youngest is 3.5 oldest is 19....the one almost 11 year old is a rodeo off road wheeler.
I am sure he will inherit the red Bronco, if I am not buried in it.
I think dats da 1 I seen on here a bit. He's growin
SiL's, wingman's, all that - must have been occupyin some time
to look as it duz in the blk'n blu...
It was easy to go from green to black N blue in 15 rattle can minuets. 2 guys, some high volume spray cans. A tire/rim swap, close the hood, lets roll.
So I still have a growing pile of parts to put on the Bronco when it finally goes in the garage. I have been working on another project (below) and about done with it and the garage will be open for the Bronco to go in.
my fav vehicle (6th gen f-250, step side, 4WD w/a double 18 inch race stripe) '73/9. Our 2nd gen bronks fit right in there too ('78/9) . 1st of the upscale 'truck' models as well. Drove a clapped out F250 on the farm for yrs (300/NP435) to cross fence 3, 4 pastures, bring in the hay (funny - set the wheel, put in granny, jump out'n it would chuck along so slo I could grab a few hay bails, throw up 2 another, run back, hop in and get to the nxt bails. On the flats, even steep hills (down)), run to NAPA for tractor parts, etc...
Looks, strength, durability? unbeatable except by the dodge open fender. The ford is alot more versatile tho (can run the hwy easy/comfortably). Drive likea modern truck (if not, easy mods 2 get U there).
So the list is...
Replace upper and lower ball joints.
Finally install the upgraded front axle shafts I got a while back.
Replace power brake booster
Replace R/H rear wheel cylinder, will probably end up doing a rear brake job since I am in there.
Install the Bullet-Proof steering system upgrade. Welcome to the Genuine Bullet Proof Steering System Solution!
Install/weld on the Kiser Riser to get ready for the hydro assist steering addition, now that the steering box is tapped.
This will be a long weekend worth of work....I am sure it will turn into a full week.
I have been stock piling Bronco parts on the shelf and working on getting the shop cleaned up to get the Bronco in to put all the parts on. And working on cleaning up the Bronco hauling trailer. Bump rail on the back, to keep cables, chains and a ****** block from getting hooked on the end. Added some and and middle decking, and making the front decking removable. I almost stepped in the opening the other day pushing a car off of it, never again.
lucked out w/an 'Aluma'. The tilt'n load seems a lill slo.
Thinkin ofa pump-clean'n re-fluid to see if its just 'dirty'.
It used to B alot faster, may B it's just the light weight I
keep usin it for~
I like the way U got the expanded metal in center. Easy wash thru if
its hauled a muddy loader or mud bug...
