New 71
Then jack stranded it behind the radius arms (to the frame rails) and put the front suspension in full droop and steer checked it again. Again all good.
It as running crappy so it was putting to much exhaust in the shop for the fans to handle it, so I shut it off and tired it up. Almost put the 37x12.50x15's on it with the bead locks, but only I did test fit one. But I like the 35x14.50x15's and the rims back spacing because it gives me a wider foot print and more stable feeling.
Plan is to get it outside the shop and steer flex it again and set up the steering damper to let me get the most out of its compression and extension ability. I will set it to help the knuckle steering stops "stop short" of MAX MAX and the shock to stop short the steering linkage at the same time the knuckles stop. I am sure the CTM ujoints can take it, but I do not want to be replacing them brand new joints any time soon. Same for my new hardened 4140 chromoly axle shafts.
Tomorrow I am going to test the front receiver and get in the end bay and use the chain lift to pick it up and then the Badlands to stuff one tire. I also spent some time spiffing up the front fenders.
FYI best floor jack ever, rolls over... zip ties, extension cords, air hose, tools, helpers foot/toes or fingers...will roll out the shop one handed and down a gravel road. Rolls over a cats tail like it is not even there. Has a sand/mud pan under carriage, to help from sinking in. Has the extension mounted to it, and the tool to attach/tighten it down. You can lock the pump handle in to a 1/2 down and lift the front wheels to steer it under the truck. Comes with carrying handle.

So ....now is sounds (push on brake pedal, RPM's increase) to have a vacuum leak. I bet after I insp all the normal areas that get those kinda leaks. I bet a power brake booster replacement is next. Jeesh, glad I have one on the shelf.

Ford Trucks for Ford Truck Enthusiasts
I said last year I was bringing it this year. As long as it makes it off the trailer it is all good...enough. Now if it makes it back on the trailer, under its own power, that is awesome enough for me at the moment.
Sure enough hauled a Ford Bronco to an all Ford truck show with a Dodge diesel. That is my primary tow rig, so is what it is.
The 4 rigs next to me are Missouri chapter members also.
98 Ford's registered for the event.
Slow Crawl.
Cool home made plaque for sure.
That 66 with the flares is 2wd and double A arm front set up, that is way cool.
