Aluma and tilt load....2 things I will probably never get to have trailer wise. I made the front section removable so I can use it as a mobile vehicle working on platform. The Bronco sets up high enough, but I haul some broke cars for buddies once in a while and they always seem to need to get under it.
"...haul some broke cars for buddie..." & customers
that's the ONLY way I'd get to play w/this one (as its 10, 12K$)
"...front section removable..."
now there's one I never thought of (+ wide enuff to jack a corner casea in-the-air repair need) ball joint, break, etc.
I like that.
Welding done and now to test it all. Got the front 8' removable expanded metal middle insert installed. Got the spare tire relocated. Added the 1500 round 7.62 ammo can....to carry new tie down strap set up. The passenger seat green cover is a giant lucky Irish long sleeve T shirt.
NO it is not home made, it is a 2001 Aztec brand trailer. Of course I added the silver steps on the front and rear, the rear ones to cover the ramps storage runners. Also added the 6 HD D-rings, the winch mount and the plating under the winch. Just added the expanded metal down the middle. Those are sure not trailer house axles, the center hub is a standard trailer set up and not a bolt the rim to the center hub set up. It came with clear title, elec brakes on one axle, emergency brake/break away battery set up, passenger side mounted spare, bearing buddies. The dvrs side fender folds up and out of the way to be able to exit a low profile car. Also had 4 like new tires, both ramp are solid but not back breakers. It sets low enough (dove tail) that I do not even have to use the ramps to load and unload the Bronco. And it tows down the road like a arrow doing 80 MPH. Best 1K I ever spent. It is a lot lighter than the HD big hauler.
Ol heavy...
Yes the big ol heavy duty trailer is plenty capable of hauling the EB, and other 3/4 4wd trucks, farm equip, skid steer, tractor and brush hog ect...When I had a chance to get the light weight open middle hauler for that great price, I jumped on it. Like I said, it tows like an arrow at 80 MPH. Yes my mods added some weight, but I can not tell it, PLUS it is way better and more user friendly with the mods I did IMO.

Man, that would be nice to have for hauling an EB and other smaller stuff. Wish I had the space to store two trailers so I could have something lightweight and shorter to haul the lighter/smaller stuff.
Well if you can get one trailer to meet your hauling needs, then you are set. I even had to use my utility trailer to haul the other Bronco rig one time. This was before I had the open center trailer. And also because I had my big trailer loaned out. Having a large place to park/store things is always nice.

My problem is that I mess with musclecars, EB's, and crew cab F350 duallies... Current trailer will fit a crew cab long bed F350 with about an inch to spare, but it's overloaded and weight distribution is off. I'm going to step up to a longer trailer with beefier axles, brakes on both.
While on the hunt to step up for a more HD trailer, maybe look into aluminum to get ride of the excess steel weight and even a goose neck. And they have a goose neck that can be made into a 5th wheel hitch. Examples below.

I'd love aluminum, but they're generally much more expensive than steel. Gooseneck would be awesome, and that would be perfect for my '87 F350 DRW diesel, but I often tow with my Yukon, so I'm in the market for a bumper pull.
Yes always some sort of tow rig restriction on us. At least if you get a gooseneck, normally not a lot of people ask to borrow it. I have even towed with my Bronco one time....I needed to get the trailer from out back across the muddy part of the shop yard. My Dodge tow rig would of sunk to the hubs.
