This is true, that's a big part of the reason they stopped making them. They were selling Excursions, but not as well as they were for the 2000-2001 MY. So as a result it was dropped for the 2006 MY.

Had they waited for the 6.4, I have a feeling sales more than likely would have picked up. It would have been a beast...

...when washing the front windshield requires a step ladder to reach the middle.

You need to climb over the grill and radiator to change the alternator.

...when you go for a tire rotation and you hear, "we only have one lift for a vehicle that size...so we'll have to fit you in".

Or an alignment, and they have to lookup in their computer
which locations have the "long rack" for the Ex & long bed pickups.

BTW, when filling up our Exs, you can take your Credit card inside
and have them "pre-auth" your card for $200 (or $150, etc.) and
then you can fill-up until you are done and then leave.
They will only charge your card for the amount you used.
This has saved me a ton of time lately.

Yeah. The nearest gas station just upgraded to pay-at-the-pump, and of course set it to cut off at $100. Granted, I wish $100 WOULD fill it up.

When you pay at the pump here my debit cart shuts off at $75 so I run it twice which almost brings it to full.
